Oh, if Diego, D'Ago and Giovinco get to play together we go from 0 creativity 3 guys doing the work.

D'Ago whos is Italys best playmaker, Diego who is one of the best playmakers in the world and our own little Messi, Giovinco who got 8 assists in 1/3 of the games Nedved played last year. Wow, I cant wait for next season.

If we sell Treze, we are going to buy a new forward. We might not have the funds to buy Zuniga then... and we might also fail to bring back Criscito:

Buffon

Grygera Canna Chiellini Molinaro
Camo Sissoko Dagostino
Diego
Amauri Pandev

And if Chie and Sissoko get suspended:

Grygera Legro Canna Moli (oh boy, what a defense!!!)

Marchisio Poulsen Dagostino
Diego (which doesnt seem more able to support this weak defense then the most defensive minded Marchionni Poulsen Marchisio Nedved was...)

And the creative Amauri/Iaquinta Pandev/DP duo, that doesnt sound too prolific...

Hopefully, the exp of our world class, cheap winner tactician will make them far more efficient than loser Jose's troops...

Looks good to me except for Zuniga. I don't know whether he's good enough or not. I'd much rather have Lichty and we better and we should get back Criscito.

Bench looks good. Then either in January or next summer we can finally buy a top class central defender.

That's the five year plan for you, complete.

We strengthened one department at a time, the forward line by buying Amauri and Iaquinta who worked excellent.

The bench, we needed it badly especially with last season's injuries.

The midfield, buy buying Diego and hopefully Gaetano.

We are now starting our fourth year, by January if needed (or an opportunity knocks, some defenders might sit on the bench with all this transfer chaos ahead of the World Cup) we'll go after a defender or with the ones we have we can continue our season depending on good they would do.

Look at this smart move as well. Ferrara with a one year contract! Synchronized with the end of the beginning of the fifth year.

Strengthening the defence and if needed getting the RIGHT coach. It might be Ferrara or someone else.

Do you want m ore synchronization?`I want you to check when the new stadium would be ready

No width! You think we are going to go from Nedved and Camoranesi to, eh, none? Cuz dont tell me you expect D'Ago and Marchisio playing on the flanks?

Criscito and Zuniga will provide the width, it's been ages we haven't had good wing backs.

Just imagine if we spent our money more wisely. If so, that would have been a good two year plan and a fantastic five year plan.

How do you suggest playing Diego, wingers and two forwards in the same team?
People don't understand, Red. Considering we bought Diego, we have to use either the 4-3-1-2, 4-3-2-1, or the 4-2-3-1. If we use the third just for width, then people are going to have to suck it up that Del Piero is on the bench. Period.

And Camoranesi can provide some width in all three formations, similar to how he played under Lippi.

I entirely agree.

I just wanted to see what weird formation the guy would come up with. :D

That is not their job really.

4-3-1-2 is not a good formation. We end up with 4 midfielders in the centre of the field. And if D'Ago and Marchisio try their luck on the flanks they won't stand a chance cuz they are not good enough to play out there.

I agree that there have been some unnecessary waste but we are still on schedule. Maybe without that waste we would have rushed the schedule one year; but I'll live with that.

Can Diego play on the left side of a 4-3-3? That would also push Del Piero to the bench.

The 4-3-1-2 is such a poor formation, Milan reached the Champions League final using it twice in three years.

:rolleyes2

Not really.

He would need to play in the midfield three, probably with two DMs, to make that formation work.

And Inter have dominated Serie A with it in the last couple of years.
