this flexible formation (which we used a lot pre-sarri) still requires an other player besides the left back to defend the left side of the pitch. who should it be? btw rabiot would still mostly play in the middle, since we'll probably continue to play possession driven football this season too.

i like this, honestly, this can be a pretty fast yet enough physical team. i just wish we could squeeze in this guy somehow:

Pretty good formation. In defence we got Rugani and de Ligt(when return) as a backup, in midfield there is the american guy(we must buy one more) and in attack we got Cuadrado and Berna(we must buy good winger if we sell) and CF.

That's what it likely will be. I like it (particularly the incorporation of Demiral) cept it has one major flaw: lack of width. All zona mista tactics do.
