Why not? If you took the time and effort to actually watch some Animes, you'd understand that not all are made for or suitable for children; pedophiles would be watching Hentai and not Anime Andy :p

I've been looking back to old Juve formations
and I noticed that over the years we've been tactically operating in more or less the same formation
when we won at Heysel against Liverpool it was like this:

four at the back and in midfield
------------------------Bonnini---------------------
---Tardelli----------------------------Boniek------
------------------------Platini----------------------

in the final against Ajax it was this midfield
---------------------Deschamp--------------------
------Conte---------------------------Souza-----
----------------------Vialli-----------------------

now I know Vialli is more of a striker so that was more a 4-3-3 but
my guess is that they wanted something like this
----------------------Sissoko--------------------
---Marchisio-------------------------Melo--------
-----------------------Diego---------------------

we all know how that tuned out but the idea was good I think
any thoughts on who to buy for this midfield to work?

It is not just the midfield, it is also the fullbacks, that need to be very offensive look at inter, barca as an example. Otherwise we have no width and we get too predictable.

So to use that we need Kolarov (Crisicto if we play 4231, as he is less offensice) and and Maiconesque rb.

Then we simple just need at ball player instead of Melo or Sissoko. CF wanted D'agostini, se aside the season he has had, this formation is much better.

----------------------Sissoko/Melo--------------------
---Marchisio-------------------------D'ago--------
-----------------------Diego---------------------

So who could er buy, imo: Still D'ago, Aquilani, Hernanes(from what I hear, have not seen him myself), Lass Diarra, Gago, Candreva, De Rossi... It to be a regista kind of player. (I know all that are mention are not registas, but still) bottom line is, we only need one destroyer. Which we had in Deschamps and Bonnini is the squads you mention.

I know about the defence which is nowhere near the standard of the old Juve but it struck me to see how similar our squads were speaking tactically
and my guess is that our board wanted something like that
that's why Ciro wanted d'Agostino so bad because Melo is totally different with no passing skills
if we look at Deschamps/ Sissoko
Deschamps is a much better passer
Conte/ Marchisio Souza/ Melo
Souza clearly a better passer
with Conte and Marchisio altough Marchisio needs to improve and be more consistent there is some resamblance

Vialli/Diego
neither of them are playmakers but I believe it can work if we can get better passers supporting them as now all has to come from one man
and we need more mobile forwards then the one we have now who can only perform with crosses from the flanks
and then there is ofcourse our defence!
