Who dumped you

Tell us, you'll feel better.

She was so gorgeous bro. She told me that she always had a thing for Inter and that is why we must brake up.

Lame excuse, I know.

Maybe I can hook her up with @Lion.

That would be quite a revenge and punishment. She definitely deserves it.

It's all like scripted for a sports fan horror movie.

35m+ should have been easily negotiable. 30m is underwhelming.
I don't think his market value even after his Aston Villa season was 50m - it was probably more like 40m at the time but we overpaid because 1). Motta really wanted him; and 2) the valuation was inflated because of our swap deal that inflated both the incoming and outcoming players because it suited the P&L at the time.

So if you think his true market value was ~40m to start with, then coming off an underwhelming season where he hardly started, 30m is not far off where the market would put him in general. The fact that he didn't show up for training and wanted to leave also didn't help us negotiate a good deal for him.

I think 2.5+30 was ok in the end.

Tuttosport - Who is probably as reliable as everyone else who isnt doing it as his job - claims: Zhergova has an agreement with Juve.
I must say he is a bit one trick pony with his nutmeg routine but Cuadrado had a trick he was doing all the time and it usually worked so who knows.
The question is who do we field? I wouldnt bench Chico Yildiz and David. so where can he fit?

Between Chico, Yildiz, Zhegrova and David (if Kolo starts upfront) will be the 2 behind the striker.

Zhegrova is a gamble but a very low cost one at that. He is a gamble because he spent a lot of time out in the 2nd half of last season due to surgery for his groin pain. But nobody doubts his quality in the games he played in the Champions league - not just against us but against high quality opposition like Real Madrid where he was widely regarded as being man of the match. He is strong in attack with his dribbling and works his ass off on the field even in defence.

His transfer fee will be low - sub 20m and his wages will also be very low - 2.5m net (5m gross). So he is on second string money for someone who could potentially really threaten Chico for a starting role. Even though he plays on the right - in many games I saw him move to the left.

My biggest gripe with him aside from his groin is that he seems VERY left footed.....getting Dybala vibes from his lack of right foot use.

Zhegrova is an exciting player. But when have we taken a player with injury issues and fixed them?

I can't think of one since Khedira. We know how this is going to go. Given that we have a lot of issues to fix maybe it's time to start being sensible and not taking gambles.

Why doesn’t anyone mention Akanji. Pep don’t want him no more, he might be old (30) but he seems like an experienced solid defender imo. He’s played as a LCB too
Are we linked with him? Is he any good? 30m for a 30 year old from City (who would probably be on a high salary) seems like an expensive price so he better be bloody good.
