This is the least excited I’ve ever been about the start of a new season. Even in 2006 I was more excited.
I think a large part of that is the Club World Cup ended for Juventus a little over a month ago (in both unimpressive and unexciting fashion may I add), and the team was already back training within a couple of weeks. We were given no time to miss it.

if we hadn't played since late May, there might be a little bit more excitement.

Really depressing to see how our mercator has been developing and reading the names PL clubs are pursuing. Seems like both Rodrygo and Barcola are pushing to leave, with RM apparently willing to do loan+obligation for Rodrygo. Imagine actually having cash and getting both, with having Kolo up front, with Barcola, Yildiz, and Rodrygo supporting him, and Locatelli and Thuram covering from behind. Totally delusional, but would be insane and would set us up for next 10 years probably.

Too bad we cannot afford peanuts

We didn't sign any retards at least. David will flop and get offloaded but he has enough dignity to accept a sale.

So as far as the mandatory ship sinking signings go, we haven't made any whereas usually we'd have made 3 by now .

Barcola and Rodrygo haven’t said no to JJ yet. Why so pessimistic?

There is still 24 days to go.

Both are looking for a challenge. What better place to do it than here.

so that's where we are now, 'its actually good we haven't made any signings because they would all be flops anyway'

Who is PSG`s Chevalier? How good is he compared with De Gregorio?
He was the GK of Lille, he's good, I personally prefer Donnarumma as a shot stopper, but PSG clearly thinking about Chevalier in terms of his ability with his feet, that's not to say he's not a good keeper, he is but he does make mistakes too. I don't know how we compares with Di Gregorio statistically, but I imagine if we went off the stats of Di Gre in his last season at Monza it wouldn't be too de-similar
