Tonali is indeed very tough to get but Gyokeres shouldnt be that hard if we really push for it to happen. His requested wages are relatively low. We all know the price tag which is actually lower than Osimhen..
Ederson and Gyokeres should be better than Ederson and Osimhen (even if the later has Serie A experience in him)
Gyok is ending up at Arsenal. Cant match those EPL offers.

I'll take Ohishmen over Gyokeres

MDG
Kalulu Bremer Kellly Replacement
McKennie De Paul Ederson Thuram Cambiaso
Ohishmen Yildiz

Thats a tem that could fight for the scudettio. So much Grinta in that line up. De Paul can be as an advanced midfielder, and lead the attacks. Thuram a jack of all trades. Ederson our DLP. Cambiaso swinging in crosses and two front players giving the opponents CB hell

Good luck at the championship. But it's a shame you won’t be active in this thread because we really count on the info you provide. And with how tough the competition is this year, being away might cost you serious ground. Are you sure that you won't be able to post during the championship?
Thanks, hard to imagine I'm actually playing at a major international tournament (second only to the world cup) it's quite honestly a dream come true for me, considering I was told to retire 2 years ago after a serious injury.
Won't be all that active with the news whilst I'm out there that much if at all, as we'll be either spending out time training, playing or in the match briefing. Without sounding selfish any limited free time I'll most probably either spend it by the nearby beach or go sightseeing.

Forget gyokeres get Osimhen

Pedulla says Gyokeres was never really a pursuit, they surveyed him once. He seems to keep suggesting Osimhen
Forget Osimhen, think more along the lines of Openda or Mateta.

Would not mind Openda at all.

Of course that team could fight for the Scudetto. I’m really excited to see Replacement next to Kelly in our 4-5-2.

Why the hell would we spend this amount of money on a striker who is 27 years old when we have a striker who is 25 that we paid as much for…. Gyokeres scores goals because he played for the strongest team in a weak league in an attacking mentality surrounded by creative players. We but this guy and he has no resale value…. Get Jonathan David on a free ffs for a fraction of this operation cost

I'd prefer to loan Kolo for another year with option, get someone like Castro and a cheap option as 3rd striker and spend that 70ml elsewhere.
yup

then again, we have no idea how much money the club has allocated for the transfer market. if a decent mercato is doable besides gyökeres, then he's an upgrade on vlahovic, bring him in. if we would splash the majority of the club's summer budget on him, then fuck no, just get fullbacks, a cb, a VERY GOOD midfielder, consolidate the wings, and as you said, try to get randy on a loan+option and another decent 9

Yeah i like Gyokeres, but besides the issue of cost, people need to understand that until 2 years ago, he was playing in the second tier in England. He’s a late bloomer. He’s 27 now, so this isnt some up and coming striker like Halland back in the day. Serie A, despite being as shit as it is, will be a substantial step up from Portugal…and there’s every chance that he is unable to replicate the same form. So it is a risk.

If this was a 15-20m transfer, go for it. The amount of money he will cost is pocket change for a lot of EPL clubs, but that simply isn’t the case with Juve. If he has a piss poor season, you’re going to end up in the Dusan 2.0 situation all over again.

I'm not saying we should break the bank for him, in fact I'd rather not

But everybody talking about the money for a 27 year old are 20 years in the past

If he really is elite he could be elite for another 6-7 years now.

It's not like strikers hit 30 now and get carted off to the MLS

Plan C - David

Plan D - Retegui

Plan E - Castro

Plan F - renew Vlahovic

Plan F it is :comolli:

Honestly though, not surprised by these rumors of JJ being linked to top strikers especially after the season we've just had. JJ = views and clicks in Italy so makes sense for Italian media to create some buzz and hype.

It just feels like 2010/2011 all over again, linked to impossible targets and settling for some average striker in the end. Or maybe we just stay as we are.

I think the issue is if he’s elite or not, more than the age tbh. He’s only had 2 great years, but it was in Portugal. Sure he could have a LucaToni like peak. But whose to say if he’s already hit it and its downhill from here.

This is a risk a club like JJ shouldn’t be taking especially with the $$ involved.

Between him and Osimhen, i’d rather go with Osimhen. He knows the league, has performed and won here. Plus, you piss off ADL as a bonus.

To be fair on him, he has been doing excellent in Champions League and for the national team aswell.

Hope we put him over Osimhen. The later is way more costly and his wages would also be higher.
