Vidal, Lichtsteiner, Vucinic, and many others who joined Juve that season weren’t really considered stars or big players when they arrived.
Vidal was a star in the Bundesliga that would have signed with Bayern if Leverkusen didn't refuse to sell him there.

Like he was really really really good. Maybe not a household name yet, but was about to be.

He was not some average talent developed at Juve out of nowhere. Signing him was like signing a player like Dybala.

I'm really curious see if Giuntoli would try to offload Douglas, Koop and Nico G. I reckon we can only sell them at a loss and that would mean minus valenza in our books but keeping them on the bench for one more season would also be a bad scenario. Our future really looks shit

maybe get rid of the clowns that are running this club first, what can we get for a cricket/f1 loving dipshit, owner that doesn't have the juve DNA in any of his blood, anybody have any ideas.

Aside from milk and guintoli himself, there is no point in anyone leaving until new coach is in

Can someone explain to me why is it so important to have plusvalenza?

I understand the mechanics behind it, but I don't understand why is it important to have plusvalenza on deals.

Because when you draw the line on a long enough period, you still end up losing money even if you get plusvalenza on some deals.
Sometimes we even lose more money just chasing plusvalenza (Arthur comes to mind).

So why do we(and Serie A clubs) chase plusvalenza so badly while other clubs don't really care?

Behind the scenes: Juventus near the end of January made contact with the agent of Bryan Cristante, over a possible move for the Roma midfielder. The player was very liked by Thiago Motta for his technical versatility and ability to cover multiple roles but without Motta not there it is to be seen whether Giuntoli will pursue him in summer transfer window.(@NicoSchira -tuttosport)

Vidal, Lichtsteiner, Vucinic, and many others who joined Juve that season weren’t really considered stars or big players when they arrived. Sure, they were talented and had performed well in their previous teams for a season or two, but none of them were top-tier stars. It was Conte who turned them into stars and managed to unlock their full potential. We even had examples within the team—Marchisio, Bonucci, and even Barzagli were pretty average players before Conte, but he transformed them into beasts.

That’s exactly my point now. The players we’ve signed or the ones currently in the squad—like Koopmeiners, Douglas Luiz, Vlahovic, and many others—are all talented players. They were all considered stars at their previous clubs. But in my opinion, it’s the weakness of the coach and the overall poor environment at Juve that’s holding them back. Maybe if Conte hadn’t come back then at 2011, and if we had signed Vidal, Lichtsteiner, and the others under Delneri instead, they would’ve all flopped too.
Licht was definitely considered as one of the best RB in Serie A.
Vidal was considered as a star as you could have seen by Bayern`s attempt.
The only one I agree with is Vucinic - He was always a good player but never a star. He came here and gave a good season although I wouldnt call him a star at Juve as well...

In any case - I agree - Conte knows how to exploit his players to the max. That is also the reason as to why I will be disappointed no matter which coach we bring when his name is not Conte.

In our current squad the following players would do well under Conte:

Bremer, Gatti, Locatelli, Chico, Yildiz, Cambiaso, Thuram, Wes, Kolo, Weah

Wouldn't be able to handle it: Koopmeiners, Vlahovic, Nico, Luiz

Well we have a Lloyd now so its only right to bring a Brian...
italian brian = fake brian.

and he's bryan so double fake

hard pass based on the name only

koop and nico were excellent in hard working teams. gasp exhausts his players to the max, and italiano's teams also run a lot. gasp is also a terrorist, probably even more so than conte. gasp is fucking rude with his people, conte is generally adored by his players. i think he could work well with both koop and nico

vlahovic and luiz aren't typical conte players indeed. i'd also put locatelli there, he's kinda soft for a conte team

Conte likes players whose jack-of-all-trades characteristics allow the system to work.

Locatelli had a great run of form this year when he was playing as a regista/cb in Motta's system. As soon as Motta got random with his tactics and team selection that all faded. I think Conte would definitely find a good role for him but then I'm obviously one of the very few here who rate Locatelli.

you might be right, i just have a feeling that conte and his relatively intensive, quick football isn't suited for locatelli (or vice versa). i don't hate him either, i just don't think he's good enough to start for juventus

anyway, kalulu looks like staying, and it is a good decision:
