People are ok with having average players like Di Gregorio and Locatelli starting and then get mad when we don't win the Scudetto or get knocked out fo the CL by the likes of Lyon and PSG

I know our last couple of managers have sucked but let's not pretend our players are good enough either

Common dude. We can't purge the entire squad.

De Gregorio is not world class but he's not a disaster either. He's someone I see improving over time.

Guys like Vlahovic, Locatelli etc have been given 4 years and done nothing. These are the players that should be under scrutiny.

But as someone said, Locatelli is protected by his Italian passport so he'll stay but it's high time he's benched for good. Too many chances for him now.

Let's get a big personality coach like Conte. Seeing guys like Politano, McTominay etc outperforming in Serie A, I can't help but feel our players are going to benefit from a hard taskmaster like him who's going to whip our players to shape.

Half of our starting eleven that finished 7th in 2011 were part of a winning core in subsequent seasons under Conte. I'm not saying lightning will strike twice but there are higher chances of us being a competitive again under a coach who has a proven track record of propelling teams out of mediocrity.

If you guys keep your ego and emotions aside, it's hard to argue facts. He would've come running to us had we contacted him before Napoli.

it's a fine line between trying to keep the team scoring (which seems to work somewhat better with randy) and not completely ruining vlahovic's market value. it surely will be a mess. i said many times that vlahovic is virtually unsellable on these wages, so what you're saying is not a big stretch. it wouldn't serve anyone though, not even vlahovic

Saudi league would have been a good option for us given his wages, they already got Mitrovic and SMS, but am pretty sure Vlahovic will refuse to go there

We certainly can't bench him until the end of the season. He will have to be rotated with Muani. Mossad is mismanaging the squad big time.

Hope he can score a few goals in between now until the end of the season and we can sell him at a decent value.

30m is a fair price if we manage to receive for a chump like Vla. He has thrown out from the squad by Motta and scored 1 goal since then.

I have no problem in us getting 3 or 4 players but if we are limited to a maximum of 4 - Can it be Conte and 3 players instead of just 4 field players?!

Except they're not. Everybody can see the talent in Conceicao, Thuram, Douglas Luiz, Veiga, Muani and even Nico.

Kelly seems very limited and Koop is baffling but that's about it. Costa is an unknown quantity for everyone.

The team doesn't work like it should and that hurts the individuals too. Are they all world-class or whatever anyone unrealistically expected? Well, no obviously not... But it's not as void of quality as these overreactions have you thinking.
