Huijsen was anything but obvious, his spell at Roma didnt went that well afterall. I remember reading their forum and some of them didnt even wanted to keep him as he made many costly mistakes at the end of last season.
He had few very good games though, but mainly attacking wise.
I agree. In England if you are a defender who can play a long pass and decent on the ball, they fucking love that. Actual defending ability is considered secondary.

Is 1 good season with Bournemouth enough to justify an increase from 15m to 50m valuation? In this case Real triggered the release clause, but I do wonder what his actual value would be on the open market.

Still a massive fuck up from Giuntoli though.

With him being a Spain International, young and having the bonus of being a weapon on set pieces this makes sense for Real Madrid. He can make a few mistakes as they always look to score more goals. It's well known that Perez doesn't care about defensive players, so a goalscoring defender is a prime target for them. If he turns out just a solid defender at the elite level it's enough for them.

"Mercato Meltdown (Juve '25 Flow)"

Yeah…
Old Lady in the lab, cookin’ up a plan,
But the fans lookin’ puzzled like, “What’s goin’ on, man?”
Igor Tudor at the helm, but the ship feelin’ shaky,
Let me break it down—this summer’s lookin’ crazy.

They'll sell Yildiz, the golden kid, future so bright,
Now he ballin’ in Madrid, under Santiago lights.
Bremer gone too, defense took a hit,
Seventy mil clause? They cashed in real quick.

Vlahovic on the block, Cambiaso might dip,
Juventus tryna balance books, not build a championship.
Wage bill slashin’, no more big spendin’,
But the fans want trophies, not just budget mendin’.

From stars to Sassuolo, what a downgrade,
Berardi in the kit, but the magic might fade.
Udinese backups, no flair, just grind,
Juve playin’ Moneyball, but losin’ their shine.

Used to dream of Pogba, now it’s Teun from Atalanta,
But even Koopmeiners can’t fix this drama.
Douglas Luiz in, but the vibe still off,
No Chiellini grit, no Pirlo sauce.

They say it's a rebuild, but it feel like retreat,
From Champions League nights to mid-table heat.
Fans in the Curva, still chantin’ with pride,
But deep down they know, it’s a bumpy ride.

Wage bill low, but morale even lower,
No Del Piero magic, no Trezeguet scorer.
They say patience is key, but the clock tickin’ fast,
And the glory days feel like a thing of the past.

From stars to Sassuolo, what a downgrade,
Berardi in the kit, but the magic might fade.
Udinese backups, no flair, just grind,
Juve playin’ Moneyball, but losin’ their shine.

So here’s to the summer, full of shock and suspense,
Juve fans prayin’ for a little common sense.
From Turin to the world, the legacy’s vast,
But this mercato? Man, it’s stuck in the past.

Gazzetta: Atalanta is still thinking about Rayan #Cherki, who will leave Lyon this summer. However, the competition is tough (Bayern, two Manchester clubs, Tottenham, Liverpool…). A sum around 20M could satisfy #OL

for 20m he's a bargain, even if it's just the start of a bidding war

jj should be all over him too

Antonio Conte’s potential back room staff at Juventus:
-Leo Bonucci (technical director)
-Giorgio Chiellini (first team manager)
-Gianluca Conte (analyst)
-Antonio Pintus (athletic trainer)
-Michelangelo Rampulla (goalkeeper coach)

Thats a very stacked team despite the corny Bonucci part of it. Just getting back Pintus himself is huge huge get. Cant be underestimated what a force he is.

And Giorgio together with Conte and Rampulla are huge presences to instill in players the essence of what it means to play for Juve.

@Osman please clarify why Bonucci would be the best technical director of all time.

Be useful for once and jinx the fuck out of this potential situation.

Reals injury record looks even worser than ours. But I’m 100% sure no matter who we sign, we’ll suck ass again next season
It’s beyond personal - the whole identity got lost and I don’t see anything changing
