Im pretty sure we made a loss right in the next quarter again and most of the profit came from us being in the CL etc.

And those exact same words were used last year to justify Junktoli - fast forward a year and Junktoli burned 250 mil and Comolli does the next retarded transfers. So no we won’t be better financially in the long run. Especially not if you build a squad unable to qualify for the cl. If not for a „lucky“ penalty in the last minutes against Venezia we’d be in big red numbers come next quarter
No we didn't... It was the final quarter or half (also boosted by the CWC?)

Nah, not at all. That's the exact point here. It's not like 60m Koopmeiners is 60m lost. Either we have the player or we sell at a price. It's useless arguementation in this form.

Comolli didn't do anything retarded yet. But again he's being painted like a clown by FM logic. I don't know how mnay guys actually watched Porto play in the final seasons but I can't say much about this Joao Mario guy. Seems like we have a bus of Portuguese experts here. The guy might turn out to be another Lloyd Kelly but ffs don't burn anyone down without 1. it actually happening 2. actually seeing him play on a number of occasions.

Lucky penalty? Maybe but lol dude, have you not seen all the injuries and suspensions last season? If anything we had bad luck...

I didn’t check but maybe it was the CWC qualifying money. But it was down to an special effect

So first of all, it’s still a football club that should aim for sporting success, and it can’t be run like a regular business. But even from that business perspective, every deal Jj makes is terrible. Buying something expensive that brings nothing to the club, only to sell it cheaply or even pay to get rid of it… no matter how many accounting tricks you use to keep the business running, you’re only making things worse.

And yes, Koopmeiners is a total failure — both sportingly and financially. But if you’re okay with just barely finishing fourth every year — or maybe not even that in the future — and getting embarrassed in the Champions League, then fine

And Comolli is a clown, he showed it with his first moves and hiring more incompetent people

Just did a quick check - biggest effect was from the return to the cl which had a positive impact of around 64mil compared to the same period in the prior year. While it’s also true that we reduced the wages and amortization costs - the new transfers and the options / obligations will be a burden for the future. And the future is now and we see how little we can spend cause of all the money already used to exercise these options / obligations :)

Tomorrow #Juventus will resume the training for the start of the new season and among the players present there will also be Tiago #Djaló. The Portuguese defender has in fact returned to Turin following a one year loan spell at #Porto and he is already at the JHotel ready to resume the training under the guidance of Igor #Tudor.

To compare Joao Mario with some players we know very well.

(Alberto Costa wasn’t in the system so not able to compare him)

- Info from DATAMB

And then you'll learn that Mario's passing accuracy in the opponent's half is something like 74% which is actually quite poor

We came from over 100 mil in red to a positive balance sheet. It's at least a positive start...

Yeah we again managed to qualify despite the reduced wages and age. Which again bodes positively on the books. So it is what it is; not all sunshine (far from it) but not all doom and gloom either like you're making it sound.

Correcting past mistakes costs time and money. Therefor whether fans like it or not; it will take patience before we're competing again regularly in Italy (let alone on a European stage). If you don't see that, you're just being unrealistic.

What first moves from Comolli? J. David or Conceicao? Plus I reiterate he won't be our sporting director and it's only a temporary responsibility for him. He's hired to be our GM

From the graph if he can learn thing or two to win defensive duel, Joao Mario graph certainly will dwarf Cambiasso's

I dunno anything about him but even in a highlight mix it was pretty clear the guy can cross the ball and is a threat in the offensive phase. We’ll see about the rest. This is probably a whatever move, not gonna make a difference either way and isnt worth stressing about. They got other needs they still have to address.
