He's a free agent? Has he been that bad or does he wish a high salary?

'Cause we need both a starter and backup if Weah and Costa move on...
yeah, but which one from Joao Mario and Semedo is a starter? Its like choosing between Kelly and Cabal or even worse actually.
Semedo was even captain of Wolves at the end of the season, but he is old and totally average.
Roma is buying Wesley for that right wing back, we have to strenghten our squad if we want to achieve something.

Joao Mario and Semedo should never be an option. I didn't follow either of them but their profiles both reek of sub options at best.

A "free" transfer looks like a good option to save some bucks (for an actual starter with potential) but didn't follow Semedo after Barca anymore so...

signing Semedo is a not an end of the world, but ffs wing backs are crucial for those 3 man in defence formation and we are penny pinching in the area we lack the most.

It's a bit early to start panicking for me. I'd guess many journalists know what we're actually up to. The scattered news at least suggests so. I'll start panicking when we sign the Joao Mario dud(e) :D

I still think we need a quality CB.

Bremer - All class and our best defender by far. But coming off a terrible injury.
Gatti - Not world class and definately not good on the ball. (He has Grinta I guess)
Kalulu - Worth keeping but still a work in progress
Kelly - Average at best
Cabal - Unproven and coming off a LT injury.
Rugani - On his way out anyway.

When you play a back three, I feel like we need a strong CB who would be a deserving starter to play with Kalulu and Bremer. I can't see us doing any better than 4th in the league with that list of defenders.

For me:

Priority 1 - A world class center back. Are we even linked to anyone?
Priority 2 - Either nail Muani down as the striker or get an alternative with Vlahovic leaving
Priority 3 - Get a world class wing back to be a starter alongside Cambiasso. Can be on either side given Cambiasso's versatility.
Priority 4 - Get a physical 2 way central mid to play alongside Thuram.

Sancho to me is a low priority given we have Conceico and Yildiz - his wages are too high for him to be a rotation player. Muani if kept is also effective out wide if need be.

Of course, given that Weah is on his way out and our willingness to let Costa go, increases the urgency for a wing back. Mbangula leaving has a created a problem that didn't need solving in my opinion.

here we fucking go....

If this is true, I truly don't understand the logic. How could the club even justify this? Both are not superstars but at least the one you already have is showing promise, is only 21 and knows the environment. If you want him out, then at least get someone better or don't bother.

I have no idea, after just half of the season too. Maybe he didnt like it in Italy or they feel we have to many youngsters

You can finally witness what Junktoli did to our finances and balance sheet. All his shit deals are paying off now. We have a huge burden to pay all the obligations and options while the players we spend money on last summer are worthless now.

Comolli is even worser and will finish this club once and for all

This one seems very random, like what have we gained? It doesn't see he is much of an upgrade if at all and we haven't made any money really? Unless they don't rate Costa at all. Perplexing.

You know we fucked up when Sporting and Porto who have a great eye for talent both wanted Costa and yet we let him go and replaced him with someone with a lower ceiling.

Porto must be laughing right now.
