But your statistical data on Paredes says his career was practically injury free except for last season. Doesn't it?
It sure does. However, as I explained in another post football players tend to be more injury prone with age so a certain player’s injury last season is more relevant than 5 seasons ago.
also Paredes is only one player. How about Pogba and Milik? Pogba earns a huge chunk of money too.

Once we sign Paredes should we still aim for a LB if the club have no target.

We have 3 LB on loans Frabotta, Pelegri and Cambiasso.
Don’t forget the guy we just sold for pennies, beruatto, who was the best LB in serie B last season. Pisa probably gonna make at least double once they sell him to a first division side.

Paredes is literally in what should be his physical prime.

Milik was the leading striker everywhere before. Having a more limited game time might (or might not) solve a lot of things. Let's wait and see.

Pogba is another case I don't know much about; how and what his injuries were but yet again someone in what should be his physical prime. Also mental aspects in injuries shouldn't be discarded. Him feeling well and intergrating at Juve could be a factor. His meniscus is a valid concern so let's hope.

Our squad has been improved without much/any spending, which is fine.

The big stains for me (if we get Paredes and it ends there):
- obviously not getting a LB
- not getting a left footed CB
- not being able to offload Arthur & Rabiot
That's your opinion, and that's fine. I don't agree, and I have my reservations, especially with regards to LT planning.

I know, right? I should be grateful for "The Project" and that Allah has blessed us with the opportunity to finish top 4 and compete in the CL.

What’s the basis for this assumption?

ATM want Reguilon, Forest want Lodi, ATM would be willing to let him go if they sign Reguilon.

We have to get in on this. A competent LB is the biggest priority we've had in years
Yeah lodi is easily the best available LB.

He lost his dependable spot because they don't use fullbacks anymore. They changed to 352 and Carrasco, Atleticos best player, is his competition at LM.

Lodi is just straight up quality LB would suit us well.

It's not an assumption. It's all over medical science in a holistic view; treat a patient, not body parts.

That's why we use a bio-psycho-social model for most patients nowadays instead of purely biomechanical.

You don't think we improved?

Last year we brought in Zakaria, Locatelli and Vlahovic.

Now Milik, Bremer, Gatti, Rovella, Fagioli, Di Maria, Pogba, Kostic & possibly Paredes.

Why long term doubts? Didn't we sign only 1 player over 30?

Renan Lodi the last days of the mercato would take this mercato from a 4 to a 7 for me.

It's a position we need to fix. Alex Sandro and De Sciglio is not the solution.

But as usuall we will always miss that last final touch that we need. Happened when we sold Vidal to.

Paredes+Lodi+keeping two of the young midfielders and it’s a 7/10 +-1 mark depending on our injuries.

Sandro and Lodi both are LB option for Brazilian NT. Lodi is a 2nd option after Sandro. Imagine if we buy him and he become our first option. It would push Sandro to consider move to retain his spot in Brazil NT
