Juventus prefer to sign Milik over Memphis for two reasons: An economic reason and a reason for attitude issues. Juve are expected to make a decision in the next few hours. @MatteMoretto
Very true, we should not look into players with attitude like that, we have enough shitheads as it is. We also have no true leader.
Of course, Milik is no solution for anything. I would prefer investing in a jar of pickles.

Whilst I am in no way Depays biggest fan, there are some misconceptions being shared here. Yes, the guy has a shitty attitude outside of the pitch, but on the pitch he is what we need at the moment (he also worked his ass off to recover from ACL in less than 6 months, and fitter than ever). A confident player who plays a pretty direct style of play. Is not scared to take shots and take on players. Two-footed and can play wing, second striker or forward, he could thus cover different roles, which isn’t bad given our injury record. He can also take free kicks, something we’ve struggled to score goals from the past few seasons.

Once again, not a fan, but if we can get him for 2 years to temporarily cover gaps, then I say do it. He will be motivated to carry good form at club level to national team at the WC.

Out of Depay and Milik it’s Depay all day long.
Our biggest issue which we don’t seem to want to address though is that it doesn’t matter who we sign up front, without a major improvements in central midfield and full back areas we won’t be able to get our attackers the ball

the issue is the manager refusing to play his most technical midfielders on the account of experience or whatever other bullshit he comes up with in his head. If Miretti and Rovella started from the first whistle vs Sampdoria I think they would have won.

Allegri publicly criticized Miretti not sure there is much hope atleast for Rovella and fagioli.

Here’s hoping the first two matches opened his eyes. He played 19 year old Miretti 52 minutes in those two matches, which is promising, but now they need to start. Hopefully one or both get the start against Roma.
