Union casually spending 100M on a Dutch league winger and probably another 80-100M on a Barca reject

We really can't compete with these teams. Without Super League intervention, it's time to come to the acceptance that we're a 2nd tier club now. The players we're targeting pretty much indicate that.

With a lack of quality Italian talent and poor infrastructure all round, I'm afraid the future isn't looking too bright.
100% agree with superleague part , but didn’t we pay 117m for CR7 , 94m for Higuain , 80m for Vlahovich ?

And soon we will pay 35m for Moist Fuckin Kean

We were rumoured to him for 18 months. Paratici openly talked about being interested in signing him 2 years ago.
I know this forum hates Paratici , even though he did some terrible deals economically, but he was really good scout .

Those are pre-covid sums

We could pay for Vlahovic because we sold Ronaldo and De Ligt.

Mid-table EPL teams can pay huge sums for players without breaking a sweat. We can't do that.

Higgy was funded by Pogba.

Cr7 was an immense exception, but financially weve since been struggling with the after affects.

Look man I’m not saying mid epl teams aren’t spending “fuck you” money on some unknown average guys , if the stats i read are true Nottingham spent about 170m lol .

We sold CR7 for “only” 15m , but yeah I know the salary.

De Ligt was sold later and we replaced him with Bremet.

I actually think this is first season (if we don’t include Vlaho) when we spent less and sold more .

Juventus have decided to go ahead in securing Leandro Paredes to improve the midfield department so he could join as early as next week. PSG would now be open to a loan with option to purchase as a transfer formula for the player who, at this moment, wants to wear the bianconero shirt.

Odds on Milik and Cuckies suffering a season-ending injury 2 months after joining JJ?

I mean, I genuinely dislike Memshit Deepdive, but at least he brings some qualities to JJ. Milik is so bad, Tudor doesn't even use him off the bench for Marseille - he's a Marseille reserve, a Marseille reject :howler: :sigh:

My guy is telling me that Chelsea will go hard on Zaniolo if they can move Pulisic and having Sterling and Werner leave. They're looking for a CF too. He tells me that they can put up lots of cash. I'd not mess about here because we'll lose him.
