Among all the strikers we've been linked to, Milik is the only one that is worse than Kean ffs.
If we do end up signing Milik, it will blunt all the joy of bringing in Bremer, ADM and Kostic.
I remember he was very promising at some point until he got that injury. Did he never recover his form from that time? I havent watched him since those days.

The Milik and Arnautovic links are the very reason why the interest in Morata would have probably still been our best option for the time being.

But wtvr anyway, quite sad indeed that we are not able to scout or find better players to be linked with aside from the very same washed up ones that we have been linked with every summer for several years already.

imo we're in a win now mode this season - we didnt spend on experienced players like Pogba, ADM, Kostic to build a future team around them. we might not be like Barcelona, who're placing even their future earnings on todays results, but we're definitely aiming to bring back Scudetto to Turin and dedicating most of our resources to that.

So under this pressure it's understandable that Max is requesting an experienced forward that will chip in with goals, Vlahovic can't play every single minute of every game at a high level.

Road to 8/10 mercato (currently 5/10):
1. JJ signs Christopher Nkunku to partner with Vlahovic (we're playing in a 3-5-2 now)
2. JJ signs SMS to close the gaping CM hole
3. JJ signs Pau Torres to solve the B*nucci problem

Any other mercato: disband club and don't waste anybody's time
Nkunku - LOL - We are not City..
SMS - I hoped we would go for him after Pogba`s injury but it doesnt seem likely.
P.T links died after we signed Bremer - In an ideal world we would understand the need of a CB before we sold MDL which means we need 2 CBs (Bremer and another) but somehow our board see Bremer for MDL is enough.

Anyway you can expect your 5 to remain (unfortunately)

This 5/10 will become 4/10 with Milik arrival...

Kiss goodbye to late stage CL football for the foreseeable future as more oil money enters football, the PL sucks up more & more money as its the best and best presented league for neutrals across the world and instead of focusing on finding great players early we just keep going after 30+ year old broken down rejects who in their prime were never amongst the best in their positions never mind now.

Unless we are getting Milik on a season long loan with no fees and no obligation, there's no way his transfer is cheaper than getting Depay.
Its rumored at 2 million loan fee with 3.5 million in salary. If we add the tax probably its total as 9 mil, Depay on the otherhand with 7.50 per year salary demand total with tax 11.25 this is higher than Milik per year . I prefer Morata to be honest but we didnt had a chance when ATM said no to reducing the 35 million redemption. Depay seems the next best thing available , i prefer him than Milik though.

Milik is coming from abroad, with the tax exemption the total would be around 7m. I haven't seen him since his Napoli days, so no idea if the guy can give us ~10 goals as the reserve striker or not, the injury history alone is worrisome.

Union casually spending 100M on a Dutch league winger and probably another 80-100M on a Barca reject

We really can't compete with these teams. Without Super League intervention, it's time to come to the acceptance that we're a 2nd tier club now. The players we're targeting pretty much indicate that.

With a lack of quality Italian talent and poor infrastructure all round, I'm afraid the future isn't looking too bright.

It only applies if he takes a minimum two year deal, same reason why Maria is not enjoying the tax exemption . As it stands with the one year loan deal, we wont get this tax exemption. Nevertheless is still cheaper with our without the tax exemption compared to Depay's

Frabotta returns to Juventus after just three games with Lecce

The 23-year-old Italian left back joined the Puglian side last month on a season-long loan deal from the Bianconeri, but he failed to play a single minute in Lecce’s opening three games across Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Frabotta has now left Lecce to briefly return to Turin, where Juventus will try to find a new home for the 23-year-old. The Bianconeri want him to receive regular minutes whilst on loan, something that Lecce didn’t initially provide.

The Old Lady signed Frabotta from Bologna's youth system in August 2019 in a deal worth around €2.6m. He spent last season on loan with Hellas Verona, but he only made two appearances after missing the majority of the season due to a calf injury

Financially yes, until everyone else pulls their head out of their arses, EPL is a step ahead of everyone.

In terms of sporting level I'd say yes and no. Just look at the top10 transfers in the EPL this season, some of them are borderline retarded and only 2 I'd endorse as good transfers. If teams outside EPL spend wisely, they can still challenge them with half the resources.

1. Nunez, 75m to Liverpool
2. Casemiro, 71m to ManUtd
3. Cucurella, 65m to Chelsea
4. Haaland, 60m to City
5. Richarlison, 58m to Spurs
6. L.Martinez, 57m to ManUtd
7. Sterling, 56m to Chelsea
8. G.Jesus, 55m to Arsenal
9. K.Phillips, 49m to City
10. M.Nunes, 45m to Wolves

Take out the money and value side of thing. We'd be excited to have half of these at our club. We are a second tier club, alongside Atletico and Dortmund.
