back to when they wanted 50m to sell us or anyonelse.... what's happened in 2 years?
People understood the difference between hype and actually being great.

What do people think of Aubamayang for the left? He looks like he's looking for a new home.
Dont we have enough old players? also we wont be building anything with him and we already have Di Maria who is going to leave in a year.

Xavi is reluctant to let him go but Barca will sell at the right price and will only let one of Depay and Auba go. Chelsea are supposedly after him. Let's forget about Auba and dream and Deepfry

tbf he was massively hyped at the time, and not just here. And it wasn't just a case of a guy balling in a shit league, he was doing it in the CL. Wonder what happened to him.
Not that it represents every fan, but I've only heard him talked about here and by Arsenal fans almost exclusively since I've heard of his name.

He was inconsistent in ligue 1, but still the standout mid outside PSG those years. And had fairly attention grabbing performances in CL for Lyon.

The hype was there for a reason. He just didn't build on it or repeat it. Guess must be some type of mental hurdle, maybe he thought he already made it. Because he has not been slowed down by injuries. So its an odd case.

Well nothing has changed, we cant play beautiful picture ,,we need players that can attract crowds by flicks and previous career milestones .
So most probably we will buy more attackers to create the sentiment of attacking football and creativity, while in reality we will play without creative midfielders or attacking plan.
Our sole attacking plan will again be Pass the ball to Quads and expect him to unlock the entire opposition defense by his dribble and pace, for ever!
Our wingback are pathetic , central defense worse than ever and keeper situation long overdue for total replace want.
The situation cannot be fixed in a single transfer window, too broken for that but we have managed to become worse, luckily by cutting wadges.
I am happy to see though that we are not completely surrended to our nationalistic priorities and are dropping some Italian dead wood.
We can hope one day in a few years, that we will fix our financial plan.
