Juve were severely loss making the last couple of seasons, so even with negative net spend am not expecting big signings especially since there's a qualified CFO in charge of finances since Jan 2021. The club seems to have a better understanding of where it's been leaking money and a need to reduce budget not maintain the unsustainable one; and also if anything the 2 4th place finishes have killed the lofty CL dreams and refocus back on the Scudetto.

With somebody with actual financial knowhow in charge, we understand that we cannot have insane wages up and down our roster. The expiring contracts this June and next June alone account for nearly 50m annually.

As much as it pains me to see Sandro on the roster, if he will not leave, then replacing his 7m wages with a young player (Udogie in 2023?) making 3m wages is massive. Think on this:

Udogie on a five year contract, 3m wages and 30m transfer fee is a 9m annual bookcost. Sandro is 7m book cost. And you would have a young asset in Udogie at that point.

It’s his directness that appeals to me. A front 3 of Depay, Vlahovic and Chiesa would be quite exciting. Also he’s got the confidence to run at people and keep the ball, serie a defences tend to struggle against players that can actually dribble.

But yeah as a person he is an asshole but hopefully he’s at the age now where he’s been able to mellow
