it's still not too late to go for bernanrdo silva. he's a must since chiesa is ruined

This is actually the best possible signing for midfield, not just for us but all top clubs. This guy can play every mid and attack position except CF and DM. He is ridiculous top quality and somehow still underrated.

If Barca bidding for him, we should tempt City too.

A bit concerning that we are 3 weeks away to starting the season and still have a lot of issues to resolve:

- LB should be a priority
- We are still short on wide players if we are planning to play 4-3-3, particularly on the left.
- We need a backup striker.
- Ideally we should upgrade Rugani at CB. I'm not sure who we are planning to start next to Bremer but Bonucci had fitness issues and looks past it.
- We have too big a squad and need to get rid of the surplus players.

Thing is that nothing can happen unless we resolve that last point and we're doing terribly with that, even Ramsey hasnt been terminated yet.

I thought Germans were supposed to be polite.

Is this sarcasm? I hope it is.

Its just brief description (conan didnt allow him to elaborate), but he nails it still:

Germans, like in most things, see politeness (real and faked) as complete waste of time. Just not in their social norm as a culture. They take pride in shunning that. Just outright direct and somewhat harsh strong willed communicators. Dont waste time sugarcoating or being subtle.

If you stay with Bayern legends alone, look at their front figures main characteristics. Lothar Mathäus, Rummenigge, Kahn, Effenberg, even that primadonna Mario Basler. All of them are unconscionable strong willed stubborn assholes. Its the acceptable way to be and communicate lol.

Maybe harsh to include Rummenigge with them, but he had his moments too in extensive documentary I seen of them all. Not sure if Beckenbauer was like that, he was supremely confident, but didn't come off as harsh or pigheaded.

We definitely do. Did anyone truly think we would solve all the issues of this squad in a single summer? Seems awfully naive. I think we should still be able to compete for the scudetto this year, but we are still miles away from having a competitive European side again.

Thankfully we have a young core group coming together with Chiesa, Vlahovic, Locatelli, Bremer and some very promising young players looking to break into the first team like Fagioli and Gatti. Miretti, Rovella, Ranocchia too. Just need to continue with this next summer. Take the time required to build a young talented team across the pitch. Hopefully in winter/next summer we sort our FB issues.

Imo Bayern is a lot more athletic and fit team than Juve, but obviously they lack a lot in class
You just know they're going to blame us too if he has a poor season by saying he lacked intensity and stagnated during his stay here.

Though him and Bonucci slowly passing the ball out from the back making sideways passes always did frustrate me. At least Chellini would come forward with the ball and gain a lot of ground before making a pass.

Bayern are in no way, shape, or form representative of 'Germans'

Everybody here hates them

I know you wanted to pass as an expert by toasting *squints* a Hollywood actor's comedy act on a US late-night-show but please, you must be mistaking us with the French

Nagelsmann on De Ligt

“I spoke to him after training and he said the session was his hardest in four years. It was hard, but it wasn’t that hard. Just normal for Dr. Broich,” Nagelsmann told reporters.

“He didn’t play so many minutes last season and I’ve heard in Italy it’s then not easy to stay fit.”

He played 3700 minutes last season, which was more than any Bayern defender. Wtf is that mongoloid even talking about?

@lgorTudor

No one is like the French, and thank God for that. They aren't rude, they another stratosphere.

And good point about stressing the difference. But they are the most famous Germans you encounter as football fans, so tend to paint an image. What do you figure. Is it Bavarian thing or just Bayern thing?

And been to Germany several times, dont mean rudeness alone, far from it but just the social norms of communication, North Europeans can be shy or bit guarded as social norm, but didn't get that vibe from most Germans I met.

Can be nice people like anywhere else, but as communicators were way more super direct, confident and loud, didnt seem the types for warm hospitality (but that's true for most of North Europe) or bother with fake politeness. I generally found it more honest, that directness. Not even talking about the cliche stereotype of no humour. Just pure social habits in communicating.

P.S Whats better way to explain an American to Germans then a Hollywood clip
