Looking forward to seeing Bayern holding ‘all the cards’ and ‘the player’s will’ while still paying us over €80M + bonuses to even stand a chance of actually getting him. :D

The ‘will’ matters up to a point because frankly De Ligt still has two years on his contract here which gives us more leverage in not being forced to sell atm because if it comes to having to accept an inferior offer in the €50-60M region we could just as well get something close to that next summer when we would be in a weaker position to negotiate… clearly the main reason we even want to facilitate a sell now is to make sure we get as much as possible out of his departure while we still can.

From Juve’s perspective right now i would imagine that anything around the €80M mark is excellent business for a player that is a burden to renew the contract of and is yet to live up to the expectations of his price tag or the absurd wages that he is on.

Does De Ligt seem like the type to throw a tantrum and train with the practice squad for a year if he doesn't get sold?

Not to me. He'll play and play well, he aspires to be a champion. Which, ironically, is exactly why we should try to keep him.

We have to get Zaniolo, since we dismantled our Federico core, we need to get back our good juju charm by collecting a trio of Nicolos. Already set with Rovella and Fagioli.
What makes you think we will actually keep Rovella or Fagioli or both? Has it been confirmed they are staying?

They are actually confirmed to be staying…

…For preseason to be evaluated.

I think that at least one between the three of them(i’m including Miretti here too) will eventually be staying full time with the first team for this season, or so the rumors would suggest.

Exactly.

The ONLY reason those two have been asked to report to preseason is because the club hasn't determined how to use them on the market yet. Window just opened and now they need to find players they think they want and lob them in into a trade deal.

Not confirmed. But we don't seem to be rumoured to mids, so I think those two will stay and Miretti goes on loan.

Slight chance we might lose Fagioli instead if he doesn't renew contract.

Looking at how many CM’s we currently have i kind of agree that it’s quite unlikely they will stay or have a real chance to get minutes as things stand…

Pogba
Locatelli
McKennie
Rabiot
Zakaria

Then we have Ramsey that is rumored we will terminate the contract so good riddance. But also we have Arthur on which we are trying to avoid a huge loss on and whom at this moment nobody is willing to offer more than €20M and probably best case scenario we will loan him out with an option if we are lucky.

At this point the most likely to stay is Miretti as rotation if he is willing to continue alternating with the U23 team primarily because we already have 5CM’s(6 CM’s if we still somehow consider Arthur as part of our plans) that all see themselves as starters and unless one of them gets sold this summer than the realistic expectation here is that at most one of Rovella or Fagioli who both also aspire to fight for a role in the first team will eventually stay and unless someone else aside from Arthur and Ramsey leaves or gets badly injured they will likely only see a limited number of minutes which would be counterproductive for both the player and Juve’s plusvalenza strategy.
