You can not be serious. He's shite.
I don't want him. I don't even know who the fuck he is - had to Google his ass. Someone else suggested him, and I asked a rhetorical question.

Yesterday there were images with Jorge Mendes arriving in Barcelona and the media connected it to the Di Maria moving to Barcelona negotiations progressing rapidly…

Now this:

It’s perhaps safe to assume nobody really knows much, just a lot of speculations.

Barcelona meeting Jorge Mendes never meant anything anyway, he has numerous clients who Barcelona would be interested in, plus current Barcelona players.

yeah but it’s not what the media was trying to have us believe… they pretty much connected his meeting in Barcelona also to the Di Maria negotiations.

It’s anyway quite funny to see so many reports and news about Mendes representing Di Maria and pushing him towards Barcelona for it to then turn out that he hasn’t been his agent for over a year now and to have nothing to do with it.

What’s interesting tho is that today most journalists seem to say that Di Maria to Juve is still very much on and that the negotiations continue, totally opposite to what was being reported yestersay.

Yet the fact is the moment we kicked him out, the club declined to the incoherent disorganised and barely functioning mess it currently is right now. So you love going from 45 mins from winning the treble to ZERO trophies five years later under the current management.

Bring up all the individual deals you don’t like all you want, but the reality is, Marotta whether you liked certain moves or not, had a semblance of a plan and an idea in his mind of how he wanted to construct the squad. Kind of worked too when you see how much we won with him in charge.
But go and jerk yourself off over our current status champ. The way things are moving with the current regime in charge even a CL spot looks unlikely soon.

But hurr durr, muh Higuan and muh Rugani and Jorge Martinez
Sorry if I made you upset, that wasn't my intention.

What you're missing is COVID. We clearly went all-in with CR7 transfer and we had unbelievably bad luck that soon after the stadiums were closed for almost two years. Nobody could have seen that coming. Paratici didn't manage to navigate the club out of the situation it found itself to be in.

The new management that you are criticizing took over only a year ago and they had their hands tied by the budget. They couldn't make any moves because they were waiting for that capital increase of $400M. As soon as it came, they brought Vlahovic and Zakaria in JANUARY. Not to mention they lost Ronaldo after the season already began.

Now, you already know it is only going to get worse even though we are yet to see the first summer mercato under their reign when they are not financially limited. It is worth mentioning that besides the great January window they already managed to reduce the wage bill by a margin throughout the season creating an even better position for themselves in the summer transfer window.

I appreciate Marotta a lot. He will be forever remembered for what he has done for the club. It was time to move on though.

Dude, we have new sporting directors in place. Give them time before ringing the Marotta bell...
