And even though I would obviously welcome this decision with open arms, maybe not the best look for the board that they agreed two renewals this season and pulled back?

Maybe it's nothing, but I know I wouldn't be too delighted as a player if it happens to my colleagues twice. Both pullbacks are justified, but it was obvious from the start they shouldn't be renewed, so make that decision sooner please.
