We need a cheap Vlahovic backup since Morata and Kean are too unreliable. Buy some real wingers, no more Morata/Rabiot or Bernardeschi on the wings ever again. No more square pegs in round holes.
Yeah I think the jury's out on Kean. Even as a back up he's just about useless.

A good back up would be someone like Belotti.

Most juventini tend to overrate Pogba massively in contrast to SMS, for reasons that are purely nostalgic.
People have short memories. Pogba was phenomenal for Juve almost every match. He was in Zidane-like form. That's really not overstating it. Now he's utter shite but take his Juve form alone and he was on a whole different level to SMS. And I rate SMS extremely highly of course.

He could fit the bill. Wasn't Ogbonna Toro captain as well when we got him?
Not sure. Ogbonna was pretty young still.

If Belotti doesn't mind be spat on at the supermarket he'd be fairly ideal as a back up. But the point is, a traditional CF who understands or just suits Serie A. You know, the Iaquintas or Pandevs of the world.

He wasn't. He was phenomenal and definitely better than SMS but he certainly wasn't 'almost every match'. His inconsistency/lesser games simply didn't hurt us because we had Marchisio, Vidal & Pirlo around...

You couldn't have ever called him inconsistent. I recall only one period in his last season where he was out of form and he still managed to score a few goals in the mean time. But the bar was so high at that point and we hadn't seen him out of form for three years that it was a novelty that he played a month or two below his standards.

EPL fans especially just don't realise the contrast. It's remarkable how someone can be that good for five years and then become utter dog shite in an instant.

He always managed to produce goals and/or assists but we were massive back then as well. He didn't have completely bad periods but he certainly had his fair share of bad games in between. He was still young 'though.

Zaniolo, Raspadori and Hamed Traoré please.

3 shouldn't be too much if we'll lose Dybala, Kean and Bernardeschi... We even need a backup striker as well and Morata's stay ain't sure either.

I only have 2 dreams for best possible mercatos. 1 dream mercato is one where every signing becomes a top starter, from top signing to freebies and discounts. Second one being the anti @Bianconero81 mercato where it's 100% jabronis  just to see the fury of big broski live on tuz
rusty dori  imagine what he'll come up with during the season lmfao, i've never seen man play before but i'm intrigued

Why Rusty Doris? He's really nothing special, a mini Jabroni in the making. I honestly see no star quality in him.

We also need to reinforce the midfield and LB positions (assuming Gatti will be our reinforcement @ CB, coming in for the retiring Chiellini).

But the Anti B81 Mercato means you'll be siding with Sadass Virginio. Is that what you really want Bro? Is this the future you envisage for yourself and your family? :sigh:

i'd love to have zaniolo as a depth option as he's a tank and an occasional game changer, but as an expensive signing for the starting lineup? dude has shown zero consistency, he's relatively easy to dispossess, he's a particularly weak passer, and he doesn't defend. it's not even about the risks of an other long injury layoff.

crippled dybala >>> healthy zaniolo, and it's not even close unfortunately. i have no idea why we won't take hamed instead. he's been a pretty good makeshift winger lately and can play multiple positions effectively. yes, he's a little cunt and not a physical beast, otherwise he's a better and cheaper option.

Of course also those other positions. I was solely targeting attack here.

We always had good Italian soldiers of lesser quality. Not every player needs to be a world beater. I guess his salary will be low and he's versatile; something Allegri needs. Give me a Giaccherini and Pepe on the bench any matchday. You know they'll at least bring the intensity you need.
