Arrivabene made it sound like it's very much mercato open

"we are talking to a lot of players but before certain purchases can be made we need to sell some players"

he mentioned balancing the books, but how is loaning Fagioli and Rovella gonna accomplish that? I’m hoping we can still sell any combo of Zakaria/McKennie/Rabiot.

If we can get 40M or so for McKennie and Zakaria, we can still get a winger, along with Paredes. Please binibene please

We finished 16 points behind Milan. What’s your definition of “far off”?
also nobody us making predictions on specific injuries but past injuries certainly increase the likelihood of future ones. For a team already struggling with fitness it’s wrong not to even consider that risk. You can’t just say inshallah and move on.
First of all 'fight' is not winning it. Second of all, we dropped many points after THAT inter game. If we had won that, we'd have been in the mix.

You can. Injuries happen to everyone. We have young guys ready to pounce. Fuck all this needless negativity. 2 dominant games from us even without our best players.

Yeah it will be a much closer fight albeit we need ideally both Pogba and di Maria to be fit atleast for major part of the campaign to open up teams.

Agresti on VS:

- No new news on the LB front
- Paredes comes after the weekend and we stop talking about the market (as in market closed) ffs
- The green light from above has not arrived for an important arrival (fee + salary) in that part of the pitch (LB)
- Monza sources say Rovella was promised to them and they are waiting for the final ok for him to arrive
- Reguilon never a target
- McK and Zakaria only had loan offers so far
- Cambiaso was not considered ready
- In his opinion Parisi is the player to take for the LB in the future
Do you see now why people react on getting Milik? Is it still an over reaction?

Dumb bastards need to buy wingers or attacking players, for the millionth time of asking. But yeah, let's get prolific playmaker Paredes and non-scoring or assisting bench warmers like Milik. It's good that poor fuckers breaking their backs at Fiat will fund the salaries of senile Allegri and his fetish for random signings. Real Madrid are still waiting for your call Mister. Prick.

Yes it is

For the 100th time, they are not not signing a LB because of Milik, it is because of Sandro earning too much, wage bill etc.

Literally in the post you quoted Agresti says the green light did not come from above financially to sign a new LB

Lodi is leaving right now, Milik is signed, no negotiation is preventing them from matching NF offer for Lodi

He’s the 20th player so still no need to overreact. Trust the experts.
It's not about being the 20th or not, he was arguing that we don't know if they were going to get a LB or not.

That was not what you said a few days ago and the reaction was not about Milik's cost. It was all about the priorities which are obvious to everyone with half a brain that they are fucked up.

No, I was arguing that there is no point in getting mad at the Milik deal for "priority" reasons. You don't like or want the player fine, but he has nothing to do with other targets

If they wanted/could sign a new LB they would have done so with or without Milik

They spent time on Milik, not resources. This is what 9riorities mean, the deals you finish before others. They spent an entire summer not addressing the LB situation, it's that obvious.
