If that’s the case, I actually think this happens soon.

The reason we haven’t got Morata back yet is because Atletico don’t want any more loans, only outright sale. It seems Chelsea would be happy with loan + obligation, probably similar to the Cuadrado deal back in 2016.

Remember this is a guy who scored 25 goals in the Bundesliga two seasons ago. He’s not trash. Just didn’t work out at Chelsea. I think he’s the type of hardworking player we’ve always got the best out of.
Im not really against this transfer, but expectations have to be adjusted :

His confidence hit rock bottom with Chelsea: basically he became a meme there and a shell of his former bundesliga self. His finishing was also piss poor.

He needs stability and his confidence back for him to succeed here, and i hope we can provide that.

Much rather take him on loan than freaking Morata anyways

Based on last season and these past two friendlies it doesn't seem that we're too serious about it.
Which makes allowing Dybala to leave even more baffling, considering he can function in a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-1-2 formation.

Loan with option to co-own?
Loan with option to send back to owner and reacquire in case he hits 20 goals.

We didn't have wingers last season... And seeing that Vlahovic hasn't played a minute, I'd say the real prep for this season hasn't started yet.

1 month ago I'm excited about the Kostic rumour, thinking he’s exactly the guy we need.
0.5 month ago I'm happy we signed Cambiaso, a youngster who can play LB and LWB.
What an upgrade on the left side!
Then all of sudden Cambiaso is loaned out the day he joined, and Kostic is linked to WestHam.
5 days ago I saw Pellegrini playing no better than Mexican league player.
0.5 day ago I saw Dembele bulldozing Sandro.
Something must be wrong.
There's nothing left in our left.

If Juventus wants to be a somewhat functional team, they need to, at the very least, sign a LB and a player who can be useful in a LW position - who can also help defending. The state of the team is highly disfunctional right now on defense, despite some big signings. And on offense, as there's literally no one to play on the left side.

And an experienced CB on loan is also a must. Counting on Bonucci for a whole season as a starter with Gatti and Rugani as immediate backups is fucking madness.

In the midfield, we sort of can do with what we've got right now. It's the smallest hole in the squad. Rovella, Fagioli and Miretti can contribute.

That is just because of his name, then he will be the next Kaka if he joined AC milan with the header of Bierhoff
Have you actually seen him play for Club Brugge? Because I have... He's good but he'd be riding the bench at Juve. We can't afford luxury signings like that right now. And boy, how I wish we could...
