He didn’t really fail at Real... they just had Benzema, who was superior (no shame in that), and Chelsea made a massive offer. Definitely failed badly at Chelsea though.

He had 20 goals - 5 assists in 1873 minutes that season at Madrid. I’d say he performed pretty well in that rotation/super sub role for them behind Benzema.

we released higuain, and you know exactly how much it cost the club.

i repeat, if chiesa is doable on the expense of a squad player like costa or berna, let alone mds or rugani, it's a huge yes. but i wouldn't sacrifice a starter for him.

Chiesa is just another Bernardeschi type. If he can be had for cheap then good. but his current price tag is ridiculous.

In fact, that season in real madrid after he left juve, he was always being a great impact sub and bailed zidane in a lot of games when called upon from the bench.

Him and James helped Zidane so much from the bench that season.

Chiesa is just another Bernardeschi type. If he can be had for cheap then good. but his current price tag is ridiculous.

I dont think he is braindead like Berna. He can be overhyped yes, but the guy is very intelligent and has engine. Not a world beater but a quality player i would not deny.
