Financially we also worse with Giroud deal. We already paid Higuain 2.5 m if true. Then loss 18m in balance sheet. While we must pay Chelsea 5m + Net 4.5m (Gross?), plus Giroud amortization if 2 year contract, it means 2.5m/year. If we dont count the amortization it would be 2.5 + 5 + 4.5 = 12m. vs 7.5 m for Higuain salary

A 34 year old mediocre striker should never be a starter for Juventus.
Would he start for City? Would he start for PSG? Would he star for Bayern, Real, Barca, or even fucking Chelsea or Dortmund? Absolutely not! He shouldn't be starting for us.

Yes but Higgy isn't a target man and his hold up is not as good. Plus we are looking at a rotation striker, who is OK with being a sub and can play/is a good fit with either Ronaldo or Dybala (or both in some games or when we chase a result). Ideally we get Dzeko, but other than him and Cavani, Giroud is probably the next best option in terms of profile/quality/cost (unless I forgot someone)
