Reading that Dzeko might get 5m a year, 3 years contract and that he’d cost 15m. That’s 26,4m gross over 3 years, making him a investment of ~41m. That’s insane for a 34 year old, while we’ve been talking about rejuvenation.

I think that life will be easier for Ronaldo and Dybala if they have a good striker between them, but we’re destroying our finances if we invest so much money in someone with no resale value.

Cavani on 7m net would cost 10m less in 3 years, but we should just avoid buying old strikers now.

Instead of short term succes, we should invest in a striker who’s still very young and preferably hasn’t proved anything yet. Why don’t we create our own top players anymore?
