I don't get it why can't Paratici just bully lowly Atalanta into a more "fair" price?

@Badass Dybala
Better more walk away from the deal since he's 29 and he was hardly getting a look in by sarri at napoli

Napoli are demanding 40-45 million euros for milik who is in the last year of his contract and Brescia are demanding 50 million euros for tonali

Marotta signed 29 year old higuain for 90 million euros
Yes but I can understand higuain was a world class striker at the time, coming off an unreal season with napoli. Zapata meanwhile 60 mill in these current climates? Like I said before sarri barely even played him at napoli, doesnt sound like the sort of player I'd risk 60 mill on

Timo Werner have 34 goals 13 assists in all competition, go to Chelsea for 53m, only 24 years old
Duvan Zapata have 18 goal, 7 assists in all competition

So basically his contribution half of timo werner, and he is 5 years more older
How on earth we bought him for 60. His valuation should merely in 20-25m max

But I am still okay if we value Berna for 40m, Berna + 20m for Zapata. Since we know what Berna real value for us, if we can get rid of his salary that is already an achievement.

It will be better if we can go with Berna + Perin+Rugani +10m = Zapata + Gosens. do that trick Tici
The funny thing is that Ronaldo/Dybala would have 18 goals and 7 assists in about 2 weeks if Paratici bought midfielders.

Players Atalanta sold in the last few years

Caldara
Spinazzola
Kessie
Conti
Gagliardini
Cristante
Mancini
Petagna

None of them has gone to become one of the best in their position. Just avrage to good players. Some have flopped big time.
Zapata is another overated striker which will come to us and flop. 30m+Perin values him at 40m LOL
This is a decent point. Zapata has really impressed for Atalanta but has he had success elsewhere? Is his success mostly down to the system because when he arrives to Sarriventus...

Is Zapata capable of creating and finishing chances all by himself like Dybala does? because that has been a requirement of the CF here for years and imo likely a big part of the reason we splurged so much for Higuain.

Dybala might not be typical #9 but how would a typical #9 fair in the current team? not well imo

I don't understand why we're prioritising getting a ST when we should be focusing on getting a top RW. Dybala can play CF. We can't keep starting bernadeschi all the time

Werner was the one who we should go after. Definetely promising striker who scores 20+goals several seasons now.

According to Italian reports, Mauricio Pochettino turned down the Monaco job, as he ‘already promised himself to a top club,’ which could be Juventus.
Il Giornale sport reporter Luigi Gelpa claims the former Tottenham Hotspur boss was offered the role at Monaco.
He told the French side that he could not accept, as he ‘had already promised himself to a top club’ for next season.
The implication is that could be Juventus, seeing as Pochettino had been one of the candidates for the Serie A champions before Maurizio Sarri took over from Max Allegri.
Pochettino is from Argentina, but his family originates not just from Italy, but the Piedmont region and Turin.
He confessed that it would be a ‘dream’ to be the coach of Juventus when Spurs faced them in the Champions League.
Although Sarri is on the verge of securing the Scudetto in his first season, Juve fans and hierarchy are unhappy at the playing style.

Stupidest kind of report. If he really was in talks with someone, let alone having an agreement already, no self-respecting journalist would keep the name for themselves. Their job is breaking news and they all want to be first.

Zapata missed three months of this season due to injury and of all the options available he is the best

Pretty sure Werner's fee was dictated by his release clause.
