How would a midfield of Bentancur, Kulusevski and Aouar look along with Zaniolo?
Unbalanced. Bentancur is strong defensively, and Kulusevski has a hard work ethic. But Aouar is pretty much an attacking mid like Zaniolo. When we have Dybala and Cr7 up front, I think it's too much with Zaniolo as well. Problem is Cr7 is not pressing at all. I would like to keep Matuidi and limit him to a substitute, with the role of pressing only. A ball-winning, quickly disposing midfielder kind of like a Demiral of the midfield..

We’ll have the best midfield in the world by 2026 if we can hold onto all of them.

In all seriousness, I would be super excited. We lack ball retention and dribbling ability in the middle of the park. Aouar, Kulu and Zaniolo are exactly what we need.

We never improve or focus on the team as a whole...we either have a world class defense, or midfield or forward group at individual times. We had a midfield of pirlo Vidal pogba and Marchisio but never had a star group of forwards. Now we have a star group of forwards but a shit midfield.

We lose Vidal pirlo pogba and Marchisio over a couple of seasons and bring in Pjanic. Khedira Ramsey Matuidi rabiot...freebies/cheapies that are nowhere near those talents we lost.

No it's not. We lack a good ball winner as well. So instead of buying 3 attacking midfielders we need at least 1 starting box-to-box. Milinkov-Savic or Pogba is exactly what we need.

So maybe Aouar, Kulu, Bentancur and Pogba (unlikely but would love to get him). And still, get Zaniolo for good measure.

And exchange Rabiot with Moise Kean.

And exchange Danilo with Emerson PalmierI (Chelsea will have to be retarded for this one).

Aouar is very possible if we include Matuidi in the deal. To get pogba, even offering players like Ramsey and rabiot will be too expensive this season.

I agree we need a ball winner but we need a box2box midfielder also...now those two are starters...Then we need back up. All seems like a serious uphill battle to fix it all in one summer when we don't have the money like previous seasons.

The defense attack problem is our most problematic aspect.
We use possession and dont create which means we concede counters and we only have Bentancur to defend from midfield...

We can do 2 things (considering we dont change our style):
1. Improve our attack - It means getting someone who can really improve our creativity and also possess a threat of his own.
2. Improve our defense - Getting a player who specialize in pressing and tackling.

The best thing is to address both but if I have to choose Id go for option 1 as it would help our defense as well as we will concede less counters while also improving our attack.
Have I ever mentioned Pogba?! ;)

As for Arthur - I definitely think he can help as I see him as a very creative player with lots of flair..
He is not Pogba but he can definitely be of use..
Only problem is he is too keen of eating some Barca shit..

Am I the only one not THAT impressed by that midfield?
Very good future but present is meh..

I like Zaniolo. Strong, technical player but for now he mostly plays as a right winger. He lost his place as trequartista to Pellegrini who did a lot better. At Italy (also at Italy U21) he always played as right winger in a 4-3-3 formation.

He could develop in a CM, it’s worth trying. But to sign him outright as our new CM could be risky. Cristante, Veretout and Diawara are the CM’s of Roma.

Anyway, good luck to the management with fixing that midfield. In this post-covid market when it's even more difficult to offload players on high wages and buying with cash becomes a rarity, I can't see them being successful. If it was up to me I'd keep only Bentancur and maybe Ramsey. The rest is not only dispensable but the simply don't pull their weight anymore here.

The bottom line is that fixing this thing in current circumstances is almost impossible. This will require smart buys for small cash but we know the club has not been operating like this for a while now. Anyway, it's way overdue at Juve to do some cleanup, too many full-belly-puppies at this club at the moment. Salaries and the prestige of the club create a fake sense of fulfillment and at the same time don't stimulate for pushing for improvement, you can always hope for CR7 or Dybala to bail you out.

It really shouldn't be THAT hard.

Aulas is on record how much he wants Matuidi. All reports say he wants 50m for Aouar. Matuidi + 30-35m should be enough.

Wolves were mentioned as interested in Khedira, Idk how realistic is that. If we could just give him for free and get rid of his wages that would be great. Same with Higuain to Argentina. Do some deal with River like we did with Boca.

Everton want Rabiot, sell him for 20-30m, he still has value. Costa to United or City could happen too for the same money as a cheaper option if their prime targets like Sancho or Bailey don't work.

And Partey has a 50m release clause. Getting two young (youngish in Partey's case) mids for 100m - sales in this market would be amazing.

Aouar, Partey, Ramsey, Bentancur, Locatelli maybe would be a good start. Then see what happens with Pjanić.

Bentancur is a ball winner.

Aouar is a box-to-box midfielder.

SMS and Pogba are both probably more attacking minded than Aouar lol
