???? so we are going to have 3 of the best young prospect cb's in football, with a coach that does not play a back 3, a shite midfield that needs a large investment, our right back is a winger, and our starting right winger is out 3.5/4ths of the season

Man talk about crying over nothing whatsoever. Too many bitchitis syndrome. Litterally nothing suggests this is to get rid of De ligt or Demiral but you jump to that. Getting easy to get top CB domestic talent has no bearing in investment elsewhere.

Romero is 100% gone since he was most likely got as just inflated book value operation for us selling them Sturaro for 17m. The little I seen of Kumbulla suggested he is much much more ready for a top club.

Kumbulla is rated high in the media so that would be a sweet deal. I like the Aouar links as well. Some pretty sweet news coming out today.

Who's crying? Why invest in a CB when we have more pressing issues? The midfield must be sorted. We can't keep buying players we don't need because they're "opportunities" and then ignore the glaring hole in the middle. We've been doing that for years now, and the fans are right to be suspicious because the midfield has been getting progressively worse every year.

If this is true we're getting a great defender, no doubts. But we also don't have the capacity to offer him the game time he needs.

And we need to stop signing young talents/free agents only to use them and throw them out for trades/profit. We're going to have a hard time convincing players that we actually want them and not use them as a pawn.

If they're actually good enough they will play. I had my doubts on romero since day 1

You are crying, you.

Mercato is open to late September. Today is 6th June. Getting young domestic talent like Kumbulla and Kulusevski (an Albanian and Macedonian, a first for Juve) are easy to do smart operations.

Getting key upgrades for tough to find CMs position is defenitely way harder and takes more time (more competition for signings, more cost, teams less likely to sell immediately etc), especially when we are still in middle of season. So far in top leagues no major deals has happend except Werner. Much easier to make more modest youngster signings.

Plus need to get rid of some dead weight to make literal space for new midfielder. First to go should be Rabiot because unlike most this dude should still have a market (Pjanic most profitable but we seem only to want trades for him, honestly prefer keeping him compared to names mentioned).

Wether we are working on Pogba, Auoar, Tonali or other top mid choices we dont know yet, it will be an operation that will take time, alot of funds and will require us selling CMs first. We have 7 or 8 of them (including Mandragora too).

It should be common sense why new top CM isnt signed in 6th June middle of season, with a midfield filled with names we need to get rid of before making deals.

Yeah we dont need a 6th CB. Even if Romero and Rugani are sold, there is no playing time for Kumbulla. He is a 20yo that would do better playing and growing instead of being 5th choice here.
