Yes he can score goals and is prolific. But In terms of everything else he is a flop.
He hasn't won anything in his career and has only 8 caps for Argentina despite being 27.

I think I dont need to mention his biggest weakness, his personality and Wanda
He hasn't won anything... Well, wait a few weeks and he will, pal.

Like he's all that special.
Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't be thrilled about it either, but at least Arthur has potential. He's still young and could develop into something special. The Benign Bosnian has been decidedly average for the past 18+ months. I think it's time to pull the plug, as he is 30 years old and on relatively high wages - Project Pjanic has run its course.

I know you're one of the more objective Icunti to Juve brigade, but who would your top striker choices for Juve be? Give me 3 names.
If you see the striker position in itself, I'd take Mbappe, Kane, Haaland. In that order, or probably Haaland before Kane because well... He's English.

If you don't, it all depends on money. And exactly that makes Icardi one of the easier and better routes for me. We definitely need a midfield revamp first, everyone agrees. But to really become a force in the CL we need a dangerous striker imo.

I can't think of a striker that is less suitable to Sarri and CR7/Dybala than Icardi. I see him as a poacher who is not good in the build-up play at all. I rate Higuain much higher than Icardi
Higuain is obviously finished and the we-need-a-striker-that can-help-in-the-build-up-arguement is so boring ans simply wrong. We have more than enough players that can deliver a final ball and we're hopefully adding even more in midfield this summer.
What we don't have are strikers that free themselves inside the box to deliver that ball to, strikers that stretch the field and consistently score goals. Apart from Ronaldo that is.

Arthur may not have had the best time at Barca so far (mostly due to injury) but he’s still a very talented player and closest thing I’ve seen to Iniesta stylistically in this day and age. His ball retention and ability to glide past players is superb. You only need to read this thread to see what Barca fans think of the speculation:

He offers attributes that currently none of our players have. He’s also only 23, so has plenty of upside with resale value even in the event the transfer went awry. If he can get over some of his recent injury woes, he’d be a great acquisition. In comparison, Pjanic is nearly 30 and we’ve probably seen the best of him. His role in the team is also already covered with Bentancur (who offers more legs too) so he’s not crucial anymore.

I like this swap. Not for the reason of age but simply for technical reasons - we need that type of a midfielder and here I'm ruling out Pogba. It's about time we stop giving those stupid wages to everyone.

I would like arthur for his level and age, but I see nothing of Iniesta in him. That's not a comparison that comes to mind.

Sarri has been after Icardi for years. He needs players to have good off the ball movement and our team is dire in that sense. We have a GOAT in that regards with Ronaldo, but the rest either much prefer the ball at their feet or simply dont lose their marks very well.

Mobile players off the ball stretch defenses and create passing opportunities. Something Sarri (and our team) needs.

This version of half finished Higuain is too static.
