If I was Aouar I’d just sit my Algerian ass in Lyon for one more year. Shit I’d probably stay and try to move in the winter transfer window to anywhere but Arsenal. Arsenal don’t offer CL football never mind the opportunity to actually compete in the league. From the way the PL looks, they wont be finishing anywhere near the top 4 in the next few years either.

I’m pretty sure Arsenal is not his ambition but a top tier side like Juve or Barça. However, what can you do when none of these top clubs is interested in you or showing any concrete interest to sign you? I think that he’s been on the market, he wants to move and Arsenal is the only option for him. He will be a starter there and play in a highly media covered league. Did we miss out on him? I don’t know yet, only time will tell. Personally, I would have loved to have Aouar here and if he goes for only 40 millions, that would be a bargain. I’m almost convinced that we’ve never been interested in him, Momblano is a scumbag.
