we really shouldn't sign players for the sake of signing players. i hope board and pirlo agree on that.

if an ideal player isn't available, don't settle for a mediocre one. that's how you get stuck with the mediocre one when you want to sell him and cycle repeats.

focus should on be on offloading players before signing any new ones. and i think that's why board has been inactive. that's a good thing guys. be patient.

i would be ok if market closes with berna, khedira, higuain leaving and pellegrini and another loan midfielder and a loan striker coming in. just wait until better options are there

Yeah I was hoping that we at least released Khedira and almost sold Perin... to excited I guess.
Well, someone will have to come in for Matuidi I guess. Pjanic has been replaced by Arthur directly.

DC will most probably go to EPL, he's got the name and profile for that league. He has been already replaced by Kulu though.

Higuain and Khedira will probably stay. Ramsey, just like Costa, could got back to EPL so we'd need another CM then.

Perin, Rugani and MDS have to be sold but don't need to be replaced. In worst case scenario Pellegrini and/or Romero will be sold while we'll be stuck with Rugani and MDS :/

Yeah and the market opens in September in Italy, so perhaps it’s early.

Personally I still expect that we release Khedira and it’s taking some time now.

For other transfers, like Perin and Costa I understand it takes some time as Atalanta and United are just finished in CL/EL.

But still.. it’s not very convincing atm.

Valencia reportedly in financial ruin: "The club can no longer pay the players. The financial situation looks dire. The leaders offered IOUs that the players logically refused. If no agreement is reached, the team will not be able to play any competition."

Don't count on them to try to sign Rugani or MDS
So sad, I loved the old Valencia with Silva, Mista, Mendieta, Canizares. I remember when they they were forcing out Mista if I'm not mistaken and he cried in the press conference saying he wants to stay. Also, I loved when they physically beat up the Inter players.

That's what happens to clubs after several years of bad management. The team gets stuck with many overpaid has beens that cannot be offloaded because nobody wants them. And so, to fix the budget they have to sell their better players which have a market value, which weakens the team even more and the downward spiral continues.

We need a management overhaul.

Higuain: "Now I'm fine, I'll rest my body and think. On the 24th I go back to training and I still have a one year contract in Italy. I have to present myself there and see what happens with the new manager. There will certainly be different dynamics." [Fox Sports]

Expected, now we can only hope he will not arrive with extra kilos.
