David Silva keeps Lazio waiting

David Silva has still not signed for Lazio and is reportedly not answering their calls, suggesting he is thinking of other options, including Juventus.

The Spain international is a free agent after his Manchester City contract ran down and it had been confidently reported he’d accepted the Lazio offer.

However, the days go by with no progress and increasing tension in the Italian Capital, claim the Corriere dello Sport, Gazzetta dello Sport and others.

According to Sportmediaset, Juventus have approached Silva for new coach Andrea Pirlo, although he would not fit into the general attempt to lower the average age of the squad.

Other sources have also quashed that suggestion, but Silva’s reticence suggests there is something on the horizon making him doubt the Lazio move.

The Biancocelesti offered a three-year contract worth €4m per season and will be in the Champions League next term.

We are not getting david silva, age, cost and more importantly reliable sources ruled him out this week.
Whats the point getting rid of the likes of matuidi and khedira only to load them back up with similar profiles

Again I'd pass. We've got ample experience in this squad, none more so than Ronaldo himself, we're done with paying big bucks for experience with little to show for in return. I want a dynamic and energetic midfield. I'm not knocking Silva technically but he's the last midfielder we need right now.

I liked the list. I sadly think Pellegrini and/or Romero will be used in another deal. When were we last linked to Szoboszlai? Or have we not been?
