Matuidi is good at what he can do, Khedira when fit would easily be the highest scoring midfielder that we have. They're still here because we haven't upgraded on them, simple as that.
This is the problem with getting rid of Khedira. None of our midfielders have the intelligence he has to attack the box. For a player with such a shocking lack of athleticism compared to our other midfielders, it's crazy how much better he is at finding the right positions and movements.

I am very much a fan of what Khedira did at Juve but he is too old to be our main midfield goal threat. We need to find a yoinger player that has a version of this. Bentancur is not it, his strengths ended up being away from goal. Ramsey definitely is the next best at it but he is not dependable with the injuries so far. Rabiot is too lazy.

I dont know enough about Kulusevski to say if he can be a good midfielder and has this off the ball movement. Zaniolo has this, he is smart with movement and has everything needed to mix off the ball and on the ball qualities.

Latest news: Zaniolo will need another surgery. Dont know what is the injury.

Is this true??? If it is the same knee, forget about him.
You scared me! I googled and saw a site claiming he will have surgery and said "riferito sky sport". So I looked on sky for today and the surgery is a nasal septum straightening! to breathe better.

Someone introduce him to Dennis Rodman, so he praises him in insta video while thinking he is a girl throughout.
Whatever his name, he's no Messi:

He obviously has talent but it would be funny watching this and then watching Messi at the same age, looks like a different sport he is playing.

Always think "the new Messi" is a ridiculously unfair tag anyway, but maybe the kid should stop trying so hard to look like him :sarcasm2:

First minute of the clip he looked like more Pippo Inzaghi then Messi with the ball lol. Super uncoordinated and looking like he is about to fall down with every touch.

Dybala €70m
Sterling €190m
you were quick: my post was there for 10 seconds before i realized that i posted in the wrong thread.

anyway, some crazy values there. bentancur over dybala (will probably change once dybala signs a new contract), barella and kessié are extremely overrated, inda a more valuable top5 than juve, just to mention some serie a players.

I suppose you can say that we have more older players than most teams, as usual. Plus Dybala had the previous season where his stock plummeted, but he's obviously back toward his best level again.

I don't know if the new Messi, but the successor of Chris Waddle certainly. See the mullet haircut again, I thought there were laws that prohibited this in 2020.
