Nope. I guess it doesn't matter what our net spend this year is considering we've practically offloaded Higuain for the required sum(€54M) and his huge wages too. Just that the deal was structured differently.
Plus I still believe, that 2 of Sturaro, kean and pjaca gonna go, at least one permanently. That could be at least 30m

So if we manage to sell those three that's just to balance the books or we use it to fund the SMSogba?
we saved lot's od dinero with the Pipita, Gigi, Licht...contracts but I don't think that would be enough.

it's better if we think the mercato in buying players is closed.

then anything else is the cherry on top...

Marotta is looking for a good market opportunity. Even if we don't buy anymore - 10 out of 10 mercato despite the mixed feelings with the last deal. We're up for a legendary season. :tuttosport:

yeah but we must be paying other transfers from last year, year before...so I prefer to count it as a yearly thing with the full transfer cost.

we can land 20 for Pjaca with a recompra, 10/15 for Kean with recompra also and 10/12 for Sturaro.
    That information is publicly available.

    As of year end 2017:
    we were owed:
51.5M+47.3= 98.8M, with 51.5M to be received in the next 12 months.

    we owed:
107.9M+62.6M = 170.5M, with 107.9M to be paid in the next 12 months.

So tack on any transactions made in January to that balance. I would imagine a bunch is payable/receivable in June too.

Or FIAT will give us a sponsorship deal which will help fund those wages otherwise we wouldn't have bought him in the first place
when is the current deal over and can we make a ''new'' one anyway?

Ya that's too complicated without a spreadsheet, so its always easier just to look at it mercato by mercato with the full fees

It makes very little sense being a man or two down before the season even begins. I’m not necessarily saying we’re gonna get a pogba or an SMS, but I’d be surprised if this was the end of the incoming mercato.

I have two theories about this ,

Either FIAT is signing a sponsorship agreement with Cristiano himself worth €20M a season (as reported) as a way to circumvent FFP much like how Qatar is paying Neymar and with the rest of the wages paid by the club with €10M-ish counted on our books(is this possible?)

Or FIAT are directly inflating the club's revenues by signing a new sponsorship agreement to help pay for his wages so that the €60M gross counted on our books won't be a burden which sounds more plausible.

As for the current jeep deal, it expires in 2020 IIRC and I've not read anything about renegotiating it. Guess we will see some movement next season.
