Basically its €54M + Bonucci for Higuain + Caldara

The last two installments of the €42M transfer fee that was agreed upon last year will be paid in the following 2 seasons. That's a totally separate deal and counts as part of last year's transaction. No need to confuse ourselves.

So, the 42m (last year agreement) will go on a different annual statement than the 54m this summer? Different years but that's still 96m deal. Trying to find a silver lining. Also, wages saved? That's gotta help...
