I dont get why people are bitching. If we need to replace one of BBC we have one of Rugani or Caldara ready and we're in a good position to buy a top CB the coming seasons. Future looks bright.

The problem is we may have to offload Higuain. And if no one is interested without one of Caldara or Rugani attached, than we may have to sacrifice one of the two. Perhaps the cost of signing Ronaldo. Who knows.

I think in this case, with how things are reported to have fallen out, the management would definitely get Allegri's approval of this transfer.

Well thats if the fallout is true. Allegri said in a recent interview that a lot of players were involved in the argument during the cl final, not just bonucci and said its normal or something along those lines.

I mean CBs are known for longevity but you have two future Italian CBs and it’s hard to imagine Juve letting them go.

We are desperate to sell of higuain and Milan seems unwilling to do a deal with us unless it involves caldara the future Nesta

Rugani easily imo.

Caldara could be a future Chiellini replacement. Gritty, physical, old school CB. Actually think someone like Caldara could compliment Rugani very well.

Rugani. I like him, he's a very intelligent and cerebral defender, and I think he still has potential to become a top CB.... but I like Caldara's aggressiveness and mean streak more.

As long as we keep one of them though, and don't sell any starters, this mercato is a smashing success in my eyes. If we sell both of them, or one of them + Pjanic/Sandro/Cuadrado/or someone like that, this mercato will come crashing down.

Rugani easily imo.

Rugani has looked best when playing alongside Chiellini for us.

you're already in the acceptance stage? i'm still sceptical about juve selling caldara, i have a feeling that the club would rather sell rugani or benatia. chelsea can fuck off, both are marketable players without the russian money.

we have plenty of issues, and keeping caldara isn't one of them:
- higuain is obviously a financial stumbling block with his astronomic amortization+wage combo
- i have a feeling that we're about to make an other purchase for the midfield, and that could be witheld in case higuain remains
- spinazzola's recovery is still months away, and sandy has no backup besides de sciglio, who hasn't played on the left side for years, and max is yet to try him on the left, so the darmian deal isn't off at all

it's a bloody complicated mercato for sure.

if i had to pick one, it would be rugani. he lacks some aggression, which is very hard to improve if it wouldn't come naturally. otherwise, both are top talents.
