Since the Ronaldo transfer everything feels like if it happens it happens if not then not..

Attack - We are set and Higuain will probably leave in the end
Midfield - We were linked with Pogba SMS and Rabiot
Pogba now seems impossible becase of his high wages
Rabiot links seems to have faded - Unless you consider the 30M+Rabiot for Pjanic worthy of discussing
SMS re-emerge as a candidate but only if we sell Pjanic which in this case I just dont understand the move as even if I think that currently Pjanic is being overrated (while in the past he was way underrated) SMS instead of him in our midfield will make our midfield lack an organizer
We can use Bentancur for Pjanic`s role but I dont think he is ready yet..
We can use Can for his role as Can himself said its his preferred role but do we want to do this?!
We can use SMS for his role but I guess Allegri will have to be really high to try this one out...
IMO our options are:
1. Put our trust on the Uruguayan - I dont think it would be wise
2. Get another mid along with SMS and then we will have an option to play in a different manner
3. Replace Pjanic with.... Modric - He might be a thousand years old but he just got named the best player in the WC and is a better organizer than Pjanic (also would cost half his price as he is a senior citizen...)
4. Just keep Pjanic... I`d still want us to sign a highly rated midfielder as we need to strengthen our mid and not just keep the level which we complained about all year...
