Verratti is on the fast track of being the biggest CM flop in recent years. Perhaps it was Italian desire to have a shiny top midfielder that raised the expectations, perhaps it was his agents and PSG's 'give him moar cash' policy - but he really dropped the ball.

Unprofessional is what he has become - transfer antics, money grabbing and a liability in every important game. Surely a dream signing.

You might be a bit too harsh on him, but your point of view is indeed valid, whereas i do think his decline it's more down to the environment he finds hisself in(as you aswell said he did stagnate there), however i woudn't give up on him just yet, the quality is there and he still at an age where he could make or break his career, an new challenge could do him wonders at this stage, without getting too much into it i'd say he could be a bet worth taking for most top teams if at the right price.

Uhm, I think Pjanic has a better vision, long passes and his set pieces are top notch. Verratti has a better dribbling and ball control.

Guise, doesn't it make more sense to get a more technical midfielder now assuming we already have Emre Can? We still have Matuidi on the bench for that steel.

Uhm, I think Pjanic has a better vision, long passes and his set pieces are top notch. Verratti has a better dribbling and ball control.

Guise, doesn't it make more sense to get a more technical midfielder now assuming we already have Emre Can? Like Verratti or Kovacic? We still have Matuidi on the bench for that steel. Or do we need dem centimeters?

Pjanič is a good freekick taker. I wouldn't brag about his corners though, I think he got 1 or 2 corner assists this season

Exactly, and idk if you noticed aswell but iirc most rumours that's been posted here are actually just journalists assuming/hyping up the mercatto on various radio and tv shows in order to sell their clickbait newspapers lol

I've seen that aswell, a bit surprised that we didn't plan on inserting someone in the deal since the beginning, it might actually be some truth to this rumour afterall and tbf i think this might be the only path through which we could eventually come close to an agreement with Lazio.

It's going to be interesting that's for sure.
