But between Florenzi and Bellerin, I know I'll take Florenzi. Actually good at defending and going foward, smart, and super electic. Those electic player is the Juve backbone for these 7 years.. electic players and fluid changing formation.

Don't need to be trained to be a WC defender..but it isn't hard to teach a predominately attacking player to track back, be a body in front of defense or close down passing lanes. Nothing crazy about asking an attacker/winger to put a bit more effort into their shift to track back. If they don't have the engine for that we have no business looking at them for a transfer.

Tracking back is part of the job, I listed other examples. And yes, tracking back is part of defending (not all of it obviously). There are some very basic elements of defending you can ask your attackers /wingers to do that make the world difference for your defense. Movements, understanding and intercepting passing lanes, understanding where the defenders are or will be moving so you know what space you need to occupy to support them.

And yes Mr. Obvious, there are glaring differences between the players you mentioned. What's your point? They collectively help out (some more than others) defensively when necessary.

Maybe if Roma were having a crap season but I'd imagine they will keep all their players after this season, especially a symbol like him. But for me, yes, he's the best right back we could theoretically sign.

We call all EPL fans daft or ignorant when some tv pundit makes a silly outdated comment, but reading some of these posts it's like they don't keep themselves up to date in other leagues or its some of its stand out players. Aren't any different at all.
