Juventus want to spend big in attack | Calciomercato.com

Serie A giants Juventus are looking to sign Edinson Cavani and Antoine Griezmann, reports from Corriere dello Sport believe.

The 31-year-old Cavani has been one of the world's highest goalscorers this season, having found the back of the net 38 times in all competitions for the Parisiens. As far Griezmann is concerned, the Frenchman has scored 27 times in all competitions for the Los Rojiblancos and also scored for the side against Arsenal in the semi-final of the UEFA Europa League last night at the Emirates.

Reports from Corriere dello Sport believe that Juventus are monitoring the situation of both Griezmann and Cavani and are thinking big for the attack.

The two names excite the Old Lady, especially Cavani, whose contract at PSG runs out in two years and despite that, he could be willing to head away from the Parc des Princes.

Griezmann though, is more of a dream than an interest. Barcelona and Manchester United have been linked with him and he has a release clause in the region of 100 millon euros, while Cavani would be available for not more than 50 to 60 million euros.

Only way that is accurate is if we are planning on selling Dybala
Cavani is one of my favorite strikers but that boat has sailed. I'd rather not get him at all, turned us down, wrong side of 30, we need younger players that are fullbacks or centremids

As for griezman. Do.Not.Want. We have enough chokers I'd rather a big game player like Alvaro or:chin: even if they're lower caliber players. Griezzman-Higuain partnership is the ultimate choking combo possible.

Griezmann really is a choker?
He's not a choker per se, he's scored multiple time against big teams (i.e. Germany, Real Madrid, Bayern, etc.)

But he did choke some penalty in crucial moments

Griezmann-Cavani to replace Higuain-Dybala? where do i fucking sign :tuttosport:

- - - Updated - - -

Pls..all these spinazolla and caldera are just Italian players who will do well in the league. Having them is good for depth but not quality. They will have no contribution to our DCL dreams at all
thats what we have experienced players for, like Khedira

Why strengthen Attack when we have 2 other much more glaring weaknesses, doesn't make any sense unless we are selling 1 or 2 attackers. much rather keep what we have and strengthen midfield
if we sell Dybala and Higuain, we can do both :beppe:

No he is not. One good season where he still wasnt the best wont change that.
2 seasons. at Juve, not even counting the Porto days

http://forzaitalianfootball.com/201...tre-of-tug-of-war-between-juventus-and-inter/

Serie A rivals Juventus and Inter are set to battle for the signature of Atalanta star Bryan Cristante, with both clubs keen to secure the midfielder.

The former AC Milan man has enjoyed two successful seasons in Bergamo since arriving on loan from Portuguese champions Benfica in 2016, leading to interest from a host of clubs.

Atalanta have completed the purchase of the Italian international for €4 million, but are expected to cash in on their prize asset. This has prompted Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta to attempt to establish a first-option agreement with La Dea, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

However, this has been complicated by the close working relationship between Atalanta and Inter, who have also shown a strong interest in the 23-year-old.

Having recruited Roberto Gagliardini from La Dea, as well as loaned out promising young defender Alessandro Bastoni to them, Inter are confident that recent transactions stand them in good stead to fashion a deal for Cristante.

Cristante has scored 14 goals in 53 appearances for Atalanta and played a crucial role in their memorable 2016/17 season, in which they qualified for the Europa League

Thing is our attack is near enough complete obviously replacing manbro as he's leaving by request. But as much as I like allegri we haven't developed any attacking patterns do signing gave no or whoever is irrelevant as long as our manager fails to focus more on attack

If we want to have any chance of getting Savic we better start working on it now, in the coming weeks. The World Cup is around the corner, many players will do everything to show to the world that they're top quality which will make the likes of RM, MU, PSG, Man city drool and splash crazy money to sign them. I'm afraid we might come short of getting the creme de la creme as there are stronger financial and influential forces than us.
