Spina is fine, as there is potential there. Darmian is an absolute dud; I'd rather we kept Asamoah than go for this 6 month Torino wonder.
I agree he's not a world beater but he was good at Torino for more than half a season. If I remember correctly he was vital in the season they finished in a EL place and the following one in which they they put a very solid shift in Europa League going to knock-outs. I consider him a tactically sound player that can play basically everywhere at the back what makes him a useful addition in my books :).

I'd rather go for someone younger, even if less proven. Maybe scout a talent in Eastern Europe or South America. Ligue 1, Eredivisie, even someone in the Budesliga for cheap. I'd rather pay 20 million for a young guy with potential, than 13-15 for this dud.

Then we could've just brought Lirola back. Would you want to see Lirola starting against Real or Bayern in a CL knock-out or Damian assuming they were the only two to choose from? I'd go with Darmian because there would be like 10% chance Lirola would have a break through game establishing himself as our first choice RB for years to come (or be sold to Spanish duo for big bucks ofc), 70% he would fuck something up due to inexperience and 20% it would be a solid, Darmianesque performance with no crucial errors and no fireworks neither. With Darmian you just know what to expect and I think that's important in case of a defender.

That's why we have scouts. It's not Darmian or Lirola. We can't be afraid to take risks. Before Del Piero and Baggio became legends, they had to slowly be integrated into the team. I'd rather go for a solid acquisition and a promising youngster, as opposed to a solid acquisition and an experienced campaigner who barely qualifies as mediocre. Also, I fear that Darmian might become our starting RB or LB :yuck: :inter:

Juventus are interested in Darmian & Bernat for the summer, Kurzawa, Meunier & Digne could also be in the transfer list for Juventus. (Rai)

Awesome

Juve are 'one step' away from signing Matteo Darmian. 'Accelerated' negotiations in recent days, 'green light' from the player and Manchester United. [TS/Goal Italia]

Come on people. Start writing some good sounding rumors like Sidibe, Thomas Meunier, Rabiot, Martial, Morata, Can.

I don't care if true. I want to believe.
Corsport:
Juventus need a defender to raise their level. Marquinhos & Giménez fit their profile.
In attack, Griezmann is the dream but Cavani & Martial are also on Juve's radar.

There you have it

Rai Sport: Juventus have shelved a move for Manchester United's Anthony Martial after Alvaro Morata gave the green light for a return to Turin.
My heart would welcome him back but my head says he hasn't improved much since he's left and we shouldn't move for him. Too expensive an operation.

Yeah. Let's sell Dybala to bring in Morata :howler:

Retarded Mercato level 9000. Morata and Dybala are good friends; Mandzukic to make way, or possibly Higuain to Chelsea, especially if Sarri takes over from Conte?! :boh:

Emerson from Chelsea might be a good option? He doenst play at all and Conte will get the sack. Sell Sandro for 60, sign Ederson and Sidibe for 20 and 40

So glad that they want a defender. Marquinhos and Gimenez are interesting profiles
