Apologies for my week long absence my loyal Tuz devotees.

I have spent the last week in Jamaica looking at coffee beans.

It seems there has been little progress in the transfer market which makes me upset. I fear that only a humiliating defeat by RM will wake the board up to the realities of the modern day need for bigger net spending. I fear however that we may be too late. The task of rebuilding our ageing squad and replacing players that we have lost in the last 3 seasons is enormous. Unfortunately we have kicked the can down the road as far as possible. I fear a meek few years ahead.

Midfield is the one area of the pitch where Nipples is arguably close to us with Jorginho, Allan and Hamsik. It would be a colossal failure on our behalf if we let them have both Torreira and Barella while we don’t get anyone apart from Can.

Can is not a guarantee either.
Napoli will not get both baerella and torreira. Maybe one and they will add an attacking player like politano, verde or chiesa. If they get chiesa that would be a significant signing.

Complaining about not signing Torreira is weird.

If you want us to sign a CDM/regista, wish for N'Zonzi instead. Guy has been playing at WC level for two seasons now and would actually make a difference. Would happily sell Pjanic for mega bucks and sign him instead. Age is the only factor.

Torreira would just be another Marchisio.

So we need a fullback revolution next season it seems.

Asamoah leaving is all but confirmed

Lichtsteiner will most likely be leaving too

Alex Sandro as well perhaps

That leaves us with De Sciglio and Spinazzola as the only two confirmed fullbacks next season for now

Potential options for RB :
Darmian
Bellerin
Meunier
Ricardo Pereira

Potential options for LB :
Jonas Hector
Wendell
Emerson Palmieri
Kurzawa

Bellerin is unreachable and I doubt PSG would sell Meunier. Also didnt Emerson Just signed for Chelsea?
Not sure he's even playing that much. Was only signed to please Conte. Once he leaves, Chelsea will probably be looking to cut their losses. I'm not sure i see a future for him there.
