We can only spend that much cash after selling Alex sandro
If it means upgrading our midfield, wouldn’t mind selling Sandro honestly. He’s been shit this season and it’s obvious that he doesn’t want to be here anymore.

I reckon we could get 70 million out of PSG or Manure for him.

Pick the one that doesn't fit in quality wise.

FFS he already did it

Already forgot about it.
Conte:snoop:
The talk of Torreira being pushed aside easily is absolute bullshit. He may be short, but that guy is pretty strong, and a very physical player. Gritty, and uses his leverage well.

Yes, Blaise and Bentancour have very similar characteristics, clearly it's one or the other.

Staahhpp.

:D
They don't have too many similarities, Matuidi is more of a work horse and Bentacur is closer to someone like Matic but with more flair and fancy

Apologies for my week long absence my loyal Tuz devotees.

I have spent the last week in Jamaica looking at coffee beans.

It seems there has been little progress in the transfer market which makes me upset. I fear that only a humiliating defeat by RM will wake the board up to the realities of the modern day need for bigger net spending. I fear however that we may be too late. The task of rebuilding our ageing squad and replacing players that we have lost in the last 3 seasons is enormous. Unfortunately we have kicked the can down the road as far as possible. I fear a meek few years ahead.

Gimenez is not a right back. He might be able to play the position, but you don't spend 60 mill euro on a centreback to play him at right back.

Besides it's a nonsense rumour. 60 mill for a centreback; already our strongest position with most depth? lel
60m is his release clause. Doesn't mean we'd pay that much, and pointing out he can play RB isn't the same thing as saying we'll sign him.

But I think we'll sign someone similar. We're linked to Ginter too. Both can play CB & RB, are tall and good in the air and good with the ball, and can play middle of back-3 (all things we can use). Just like Howedes. Allegri also has a penchant for playing Barzagli at RB. Gimenez and Ginter can also play CDM.

Don't expect us to sign an overlapping FB. It'll be a conservative RB type with MDS as the less conservative alternative with the LB playing a more attacking/overlapping role. Similar to zona mista, which Allegri seems to like. At the same time, this player will also address set pieces and passing from the back issues.

even better! we'll move Cuadrado to RB role and alternate between MDS and Cuadrado depending on what we need during the game!
Save up more money! free up some space for Pjaca!
More money saved for other or better players elsewhere!

“There are reports going around that Lorenzo Pellegrini has a very low release clause, but I want to point out those stories are incorrect. Lorenzo will be an important figure in Roma’s future. He is Roman, he’s a Romanista and he grew up in our youth academy.”

Looks like Cristante is our best bet now

Based on our net spending of past two seasons which is 30 million euros per season
It's a fairly easy pattern to follow. Maybe we could spend more net but it's unlikely. In fact in some seasons it's been below €20m net when you add in every single transfer and loan.

If we sell big we'll spent big, if not it'll be something like €30m - €40m net max, barring a summer where we need large restructuring. That isn't this summer and it might not be any summer because we plan ahead with moves like Szczesny and all the younger guys we tie up.

Those who continually expect a blowout summer, it just isn't happening. Forget it. I don't need to work at the club to know that. The only time it happened in the last 25 years was because of Farsopoli.
