“..#Lotito and #Marotta went together, almost arm in arm and talking amiably..and went together to Andrea Agnelli who was waiting in the car.”

“..Marotta and Lotito laid the foundations for a normal, if not collaborative, relationship.”

[CalcioMercato]

So it was a very Intelligent thing not to negotiate with De Vrij ... waiting for the most valuable one in LAZIO :flag1:
:klin: Reminds me of that scene in Team America where Spotswood asks Gary to get in his car :D

I would sell Dybala for 150M and buy Martial for 60M.

Costa-Higuain-Martial

excess money goes into CMs behind them.

Sorry man. You don't sell your best player and most marketable asset to replace him with a United bench warmer.

First of all that Union benchwarmer would be a fantastic buy. Hes potential is just as good as Dybalas, who is not a 150m EUR player right now.

Secondly I hate that we sell our best players each year, but if you absolutely have to choose, you got to admit that selling Dybala and getting Martial and a top class mid as SMS or Pogba, would take the team to another level.

You people disgust me. You all need that "Ambition" shirt. We should not be selling anyone. We should be adding pieces. This shit is unsustainable long term. If the filthy rich Jew persists and continues to be obstinate and stingy, I'd rather we sell the club. Eventually, the replacements aren't going to be good enough (*cough* midfield *cough*) and we are going to struggle.

Would you stop with the bullshit. You need a sustainable model to be competitive in the long run, not some arab or Chinese shithead, were the future of the club is down to his willingness to throw money out of the window.

Get your fucking head out of your ass.

Did I say a Chinese investor? Are City and PSG owned by Chinese investors? What about Chelsea? If Elkaan and Co. are only interest in Juventus from a purely financial/business perspective, then we should be looking at potential investors.

I know people are proud of the club's Italian identity, but maybe we can sell 30%-40% with the rest remaining in the hands of the Agnelli family.

And what have City and PSG achieved so far?

:howler: Sustainable model built on selling one top player every year? Such a simpleton. I don't see City or PSG disappearing anytime soon. Bayern are still a powerhouse, but they don't sell their best players. Serie A is a shit league, and in the short term, more investors might be the way to move forward, until the bureaucracy, old stadia, and other elements of BS are sorted out.

Remind me again, when was the last time we won the CL? Until we actually win the CL, we aren't any better than teams that dominate their local league (City in the EPL, and PSG in Ligue 1). You don't get a trophy for finishing 2nd. Allow me to entertain your question, however. PSG and City have not achieved anything on the European stage, but neither have we.

Nonetheless, I'm sure the fans of City and PSG go into every summer mercato confident that their best players are going to remain, and the management will add pieces in an attempt to make them more competitive.

I'm not asking us to spend 200+ million every summer, but we should be able to invest 70-80 million without significant sales. I've been hearing "we want to emulate the Bayern model" for a few years now, but I don't see Bayern selling their best players every year.

Sustainable model build on not spending more than you earn, and not risking going bankrupt, if your sugardaddy for some reason get tired of or are unable to finance your spending.

PSG and City are entirely dependend on some sheiks will to keep throwing money away. Not the way we should operate.

And by the way Bayerns net spending is lower than ours.

Costa is 40m. Now we have 30m to spend, with at least 1 top class CM needed and one RB?

You sell Sturaro, wave goodbye to Khedira, and possibly offload Mandzukic. Sell off a couple of youngsters on loan as well. That should generate another 40-50 million. Acquire Martial on a loan + obligation to buy, get Fabinho for 50 million, and Spinazolla can rotate with De Sciglio @ RB.

So you have just used two years budget to sign Fabinho and Martial and MDS is still our starting RB.

By the way Fabinho will cost a lot more than 50m.

If Pjaca doesn't fulfill his promise, he can be sold in the summer of 2019, and if Alex Sandro wants to go, we can sell him then. Dybala should be the last player we sell. He's our best, most important, and most marketable asset. It's really that simple. I'd sell Sandro and Pjanic before I even contemplate selling Dybala.

- - - Updated - - -

No that's a BS fantasy scenario and you know it
Well, The Accidental Footballer has to go. Someone in this world, this realm, this universe is dumb enough to stump up 20+ million for him.

I think Sandro is gone, but that would suck balls, because the guys coming in to replace him are mediocre at best.
