Milan, Juve eye Ceballos deal | Football Espana

Milan and Juventus could be set to do battle for out-of-favour Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos on a two-year loan deal, say reports in Spain.

The 21-year-old joined Los Blancos in a €16m deal from Real Betis last summer but has struggled for regular playing time and has made only two La Liga starts this campaign.

El Mundo Deportivo state both Serie A clubs are eyeing a two-year loan deal for the playmaker, who they believe could fit straight into their starting line-up whilst also developing.

The report draws parallels between this ambition and Juve’s 2014 deal for Alvaro Morata, who joined the Old Lady in 2014 for €20m before re-joining Madrid two years later for €30m.

Madrid reportedly would not sanction an exit without a decisive stay in the Spain Under-21 star’s future.

Another Morata type deal? :sergio:
We get fucked by them both on the pitch and on the market:sergio:

Im not a fan , but there are definitely some merits to the Darmian deal

- he knows turin having played for torino so would fit in off the field
- on the field he's played with our italy defenders and so is compatible in that aspect
- wont be jumping ship like a lolzillian to the next payout
- will be cheap given his current situation at man utd
can also play CB in a 3 man backline, so could be more of a Barzagli/Howedes replacement than AS

Sczesney (Marchetti)
Bellerin (MDS) - Benatia (Rugani) - Chiellini (Barzagli) - Darmian (Spinazzola)
Pjanic (Khedira) - Matuidi (Can)
Bernardeschi (Cuadrado) - Dybala - Douglas Costa (Pjaca)
Higuain (Mandzukic)

- Caldara, Sturaro, Bentancur, Pinsoglio are our squad fillers
:numnum: :shifty: Good job weakening the squad Bro. Those fullback options :yuck: :inter: Where are the midfield upgrades? Why is that thing a substitute, and where is Marchisio? That squad is worse than the one we currently have :howler: :baus:

I really wonder why you're always criticizing everything I say but I suspect Alex Sandro to be sold and Marchisio off to the ML$

I don't think it's weaker, if anything more balanced. Spinnazola, Can, Pjaca, Bellerin are all significant upgrades over Asamoah, Sturaro, Mandzukic on the wing and Lichtsteiner

I think it's weaker, especially in defense. I don't rate Bellerin that highly, and Spina and Darmian as options @ LB is pathetic for a club of our stature. Can alone is not a sufficient upgrade for that midfield of ours. Asamoah and Sandro as LB options are far superior to the Dud Darmian and Spina.

Don't know why ppl keep undervaluing and underrating Kojo! Darmian and the spazzolimos are all a step lower defensively and more expensive.
Hope kojo destroys bale and or Vasquez then he'd get his renewal

LB gets weaker, RB gets better. I'm curious to your predictions for our line-up next season...

I don't like this concept of weakening one area to strengthen another. In the long term it isn't sustainable and highlights a lack of ambition on our part. I'd love SMS here, but that isn't going to happen. Ideally, I'd love to keep all our key players here and sell some fringe players. If we get 20+ million for The Accidental Footballer, by all means ship him to the foolish bidder. I'd add Caldara, Spina, Can, and another midfielder like Fabinho for example. Perhaps invest in some youngsters like Barella or Cristante, and keep an eye on future talents and the South American and East European markets. Minor tweaks and adjustments; nothing too major, except in midfield, which is clearly our weakness.

If we had a fully fit and in form squad today we wiild be stating all that is needed is that midfielder to partner pjanic and matuidi. The first thing we need to do is work out why our players get injured so much..allegri training? Poor medical team? Whatever it is fix that.

Fabinho and Can cover the same position! Aka CDM role infront of the defence.
So you'd need an half winger (dun remember the proper term in english to call the mezz'ala) to partner up with Pjanic and Matuidi.
Else Can and Fabinho would do wonders as a partnership in a 4-2-3-1
Something like this

Would be faptastic

Oblak, Bellerin, replacing Pjanic with Can.

L O L
Nope Just reply that Can + Fabinho can't play in a 3 man midfield but would be perfect in a 2man mid.
So it's either one or another.
Personally I wouldn't pick neither but just Milinkovic Savic to replace Khedira and play with this 3 mid Matuidi-Pjanic-Milinkovic
