People were crying out for him to be dabdabs replacement but it never happened. Matuidi is good but I've always rated nzonzi above him. Maybe we will get it right in the summer.
N’Zonzi would be the ideal DM but he is not a creative midfielder.

One of Isco/Kovacic/Ceballos would be perfect. Madrid has too many creative midfielders to keep happy. We should try our hardest to sign the one that will be offloaded in the summer.

i agree. getting 1 of the real madrid "rejects" would be amazing if we get him at a reaasonable price. other than that, I'd love to try and get a young, hardworking fighter. Nzonzi is a bit too old imo

Sadly 1) he is retarded. Always having a go at our fans 2) he is 30years old 3) he would cost 50m and look at 2
You forgot 4... He would reject us..
Nainggolan is fantastic but there are others players in the world so I guess we just need to sign them..
SMS Fabinho+Can on a free while Matuidi is very good IMO
We can use a bulldog but we can play without one as well.. the most important thing is quality physicality and balance.

Nzonzi is so 2017.. He is a very good player but is too static to my liking - I rather see us go for someone more dynamic..
Isco would be amazing
Kovacic is a good player but he would cost way more than his worth
Ceballos - Is there a chance getting him without a buy back option / loan?

Kovacic would be a much better fit than lightweight Isco.

Realistic Targets:

Fabinho
Can
Barella
Cristante
Pellegrini
Kovacic
Torreira

Ideally, I'd like us to sign 3 from the aforementioned list and dispose of Khedira and The Accidental Footballer. Let's just focus on strengthening the midfield, and not tamper with any of the other areas. Caldara and Spinazzola are coming in to strengthen/shore up the defense, and are good as both rotation and backup options. Licht will probably leave, but we should retain Asamoah.

Out:

Howedes
Licht
Khedira
Sturaro

In:

Can
Fabinho
Barella
Spinazolla
Caldara

Perhaps we can unearth some hidden gem in Eastern Europe or South America.

With Roma qualifying for the next round in the CL, its going to eat more into our revenue share

I reckon we sell Sandro in the summer to cover our losses for the year

We could still spend money on incoming players, as that is amortized over multiple years

extremely likely to not happen. To get those 3....
We're lucky if we get Can for free...

We need a 1-2 midfielders and a proper offensive right back to switch with De Sciglio
That hoping we won't lose anyone even if at this point Alex Sandro is likely to go.

at midfield we have a problem currently.
The good ones are Pjanic and Matuidi.
Khedira is past it ready for MLS or Buli come back in some small team.
Marchisio is not the same after that injury and a year and half of stop
Sturaro is weak
Bentancur is young and need chances which he is not getting lately.

If I could manage it I'd say my thanks to Khedira and let him go.
I would sell Sturaro. His only pro is being italian and being 24years old but that's it...
I wouldn't sell Claudio. But if Allegri keep him as the fifth midfielder never giving him a chance I can see him asking to go this summer.
My heart would bleed seeing Claudio go. But being ruthless he is almost 33years old and come from a year and half of injury and not offering much lately.

So Marchisio,Sturaro and Khedira out.
In (dreaming) SMS,Pellegrini and Barella

Matuidi-Pjanic-Milinkovic,Barella,Pellegrini,Bentancur and an experienced but decent midfielder.

3 starters and 3 youth! Barella 21- Pellegrini 21 - Bentancur 20

Then we'd need a proper right back with Lichsteiner leaving
My best options would be Sidibè or Hysaj XD (unlikely for Napoli to sell us but...) he'd be the typical Juventus signing. 24years old and toons of experience of Italian League. Well balanced between attack and defense. The minus is that he play for Napoli and unless he has a release clause I doubt they would ever sell to us.

Else if we can't get someone young and experienced such as Sidibè or Hysaj I would go all in for Álvaro Odriozola.

The rest of the team is set unless someone leave.
In attack we're packed unless Mandzukic leave for China or somewhere else. Which is something I always dream he would do.
even with Asamoah leaving for free we'll get Spinazzola.
The problem would arise if Alex Sandro quit.
What then? try to keep Asabob and Spinazzola or look for someone else?

Howedes will go but we'll get Caldara....
I don't understand why we are renewing Barzagli for one more year with Caldara incoming.
We already have Benatia and Chiellini as starters. Caldara and Rugani as subs would be perfect.
Knowing both Benny and Giorgio they would have chances to play.

Let's see what happen with Buffon and Polish guy but ideally we'd need 3players right now. 2mids and a rb

If we manage to get into semi-finals we won't have losses.
But we'll prolly sell to buy like in the past 3-4 years.

Could you please explain how just the semi finals would be enough?

I dont have the figures, but just back of the envelope, I reckon we lose on UEFA money as well as TV revenue split with Roma

The Tottenham one.
Im a little confused on something - I remember a Dembele from U21 Belgium vs Italia with Dembele going all across the field dribbling past everyone and scores - Which Dembele was it?

As for the Tottenham one - He is good but also a bit old..

Calciomercato says 2 things:
1. Arsenal want 56M for Bellerin while Juve and Barca want him and it says we want to spend less
2. Barcelona want Pjanic - If this is true and Pjanic wants to move it could be problematic to replace him so we need to ask for a ridiculous sum for him (something that will allow us to get both SMS and another great player)
