No its called money.

Juventus are stingy with their money. Yes Man United are much richer but we can at least afford to match their wages if it means we get to keep the likes of Pogba, Sandro and Dybala.

The problem is the AGNELLIS. Who are tight. While Lupo or whatever his name is travels around the world doing drugs with escorts and his brother buys yachts and drinks champagne on newly bought islands JUVENTUS regress because they refuse to put money into the club. They have allowed us to become a feeder club so that they can continue their extravagant lifestyles.

Are Juventus not worthy of investment? Does our history not mean something??

Honestly Juventus are treated like the battered, ageing wife by the Agnellii brothers. After years of dedication she has been tossed aside and forgotten. Humiliated and torn down from her once high heights. The Old Lady has never been a more apt description.

1) the club has only recently returned to profit after calciopoli, we sustained heavy losses in the secco era

2) money is being invested in salaries which have grown dramatically

Give it time and they will be. Just like Chelsea ultimately won a PL and CL after years in the dark.

Yes they will but they dont last because they dont know how to spend economically and smartly. Chelsea is the prime example of poor spending. They spend huge on all these players but dont build a "team and end up losing all their potential stars. They have lost way more than we have. Lukaku,Salah,Cuads, Matic,Costa, etc and thats just recently. Having star players is key to success but dont get confused into thinking that if you have a lot of money you can just win. Pep is the greatest coach in the world to a lot of people and he generally gets a huge budget. He hasnt won since Barca had a super team that was constructed out of a style of play and not deep pockets.

In my opinion, when you're not amongst the richest teams, you're always two summer transfers away from mediocrity. This is why Juventus need to sort out their selling policy; one of these days we won't be able to replace our quality with quality and that will be that for top level football. This is what killed off Lyon and Dortmund in the past. Selling our best players also gives our reputation a bad taste; we'll always be deemed as a 'selling team.'

Juventus should be take advantage for its successful runs in the CL, its what Bayern have done. In the case of Pogba, I honestly think he left after the Bayern gam, thinking that 2015 was a fluke. But now we have reached the final twice in three years, there really is no excuse. A semi final spot in this year's champions league should be enough to stabilise our reputation that we have built in these last 5 years.

Even with magos Moggi we had to sell ourZZ, the point is what to make of that. As the situation stands, we can't do much, last year was our best bet for the CL, we are not going to have such a chance any time soon.
We are in the top 10 of Europe and that's not easy, we are pleased with it...

I agree with the 2 years away thing to some extent. But what gives you the idea that the team that has taken us from multiple 7th place finishes to 6 scudettos and 2 cl finals? We are getting better every year. We could just as easily keep growing into the elite with our current market plan.

What makes you think we will regress due to our market choices? Not a fan of Costa,Berna,Cuads,Higuain,Pjanic, Alves, Sandro, Benatia, Dybala, etc? All these were not huge purchases but calculated purchases. Also getting Khedira for free was a huge buy for us. Not to mention the youth coming through like rugani,Caldara,Kean, Pjaca etc

Where do you think our issues are? Do you think we have regressed from 6 years ago? Stats say very different

Also when comparing to teams that fell off its important to know not only are we growing but we are winning and doing so significantly. We are by far the richest team in Italy and dominating our league. Something they didnt really do. When you arent one of the elite you can just as easily spend yourself away from the top

That probably is the best option. But we dont know any of the information. Who would we get? How would they turn out? How would it effect our finances?

For instance...why would you sell Vidal? One of the top CMs in the world and no one would have been upset to keep him for life. But we were losing forwards and made the decision that without quality strikers we dont stand a chance which is true and we know that from the Conte days. Would you say that Vidal Dybala swap was a bad move long term? Every think in finance is linked. Its not individual buy sell decisions. Would we really be better with Pogba instead of Pjanic and Higuain? Maybe maybe not but thats the decision we made not just selling for the hell of it. Almost every loss we have had we have replaced with more world class and every time we get younger and deeper in our squad. If this many injuries happened 5 years ago we would have drowned.
