Juve eye up Max Meyer? | Football Italia

Juventus are reportedly considering a summer swoop for Schalke winger Max Meyer, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve’s squad could be set “to speak even more German” after Sami Khedira, Benedikt Howedes and possibly Emre Can as they have “set their sights” on Meyer.

The 22-year-old has yet to sign a new contract with Schalke, leaving the Gelsenkirchen side at risk of losing him for nothing.

Meyer, who has scored once in 26 appearances under Italian Coach Domenico Tedesco this season, has also attracted interest from Milan and Atletico Madrid.

Hes not a winger. He had dinner with his gf and agent (and Schalke Director i think) yesterday and they rejected 5.5M (dont know if net or gross) offer, will be a freebie in summer. Wouldnt mind at all

Hasn't been impressive at all this season, stagnating more than anything. Too bad top tier german talents are reserved for Bayern.

I suggested him a while ago but after reading his salary demands he can go fuck himself. This is where our money goes all the time, paying mediocre scrubs royal wages and then have nothing left to pay royal wages to players who deserve them

Verratti is overdoing it at times, going in like a pitbull to make up for his midget sized body.
Sounds like something that can easily be coached away, and that he has gotten red cards in visible CL games is a factor to lower the transfer fee and open up the possibility for a transfer in the first place, if he has fallen from grace
